"They're so late," Seven sighs, draping himself over the table of the restaurant a little, sending a glance at the entrance to see if Jace and Kailah are there yet; no such luck.
Vesta rolls her eyes. "Jace is probably trying to run from Kailah," she says in a dry tone. "I wouldn't expect them here any time soon, though."
"Ung, I'm starving." Seven groans.
"Maybe we should just eat already?" Katy suggests, grinning at the other occupants of the table, though her eyes linger on Seven.
"That would be rude," Kael says in a dry tone. "If Kailah says she will be 'ere, then she will." Though she's rarely late, so he can't help but wonder if Jace managed to get rid of her permanently? That would be bad.
"You're right, I guess." Seven pouts slightly as he reaches down, rubbing his stomach.
Vesta rolls her eyes, "Let's just order some basic appetizers or something, they can't expect us to wait forever."
"Like I said, that would be rude," Kael tosses her a slight glare.
"Like I said, they can't expect us to wait forever." Vesta glares right back.
"Uhh, I'll just wait," Seven says quickly, breaking up the fight.
Vesta rolls her eyes, sitting back slightly.
"Yeah! Anyway, this is still a great date even without them! Though a triple date would be more fun than a double one, we can make do!" Katy says cheerfully.
Seven stares at her blankly. "Wait, who are the dates?"
"Of course, you and me, and then Kael and Vesta, silly!" Katy giggles.
"I think not." Vesta is the first to speak up while Kael sends Katy a slightly foul look, while Seven just continues to stare at her blankly. "I wouldn't go on a date with him. And even if I were on a date, I certainly wouldn't go on a double date with you," Vesta scowls at Katy who pouts.
"What? But why-"
"I would not go a date with you either," Kael interrupts "I prefer to date women, not gorillas."
"Hoooo..." Vesta narrows her eyes slightly "Big words from someone who looks like their mom had intercourse with a porcupine."
Kael narrows his eyes in return. "Your father likely 'ad intercourse with a peach, only peaches can still be eaten."
Seven's eyes shift to Vesta's hair. 'Peaches...'
Vesta smacks him on the head with a menu, causing Seven to send her an easy going grin as he holds up his hands in defence, before Vesta goes back to arguing with Kael.
Seven and Katy stare at the two, listening for several minutes on an end to insults flying back and forth a little blankly, before Katy grins. "See? They're perfect!" She says cheerfully.
Seven shakes his head, a small grin tugging at his lips "... Sure, why not."
"Oh! There they are!" Katy jumps up as she spots Jace and Kailah entering the restaurant, jumping a bit in place as she waves, "We're here!"
The words effectively cut Kael and Vesta's argument short as they simply settle for seething at each other quietly.
Seven lets out a relieved sigh. "Good, at least we can finally eat."
