9:35, 12th of Drakonis, Dragon Age. I am Scholar Gjalmar Eidenhafen and this is my ode to the true King of Orzammar, Kodin Aeducan.
In times of peace; great children are born.
Three sons of Great King Endrin; all with their roles cut out.
The First is to be king; the second to be spare and commander of war.
The last one however is a role untold; a child without bonds.
Without attention a child will gaze upon the world with unchanged eyes; even in his coming of age.
Three sons, similar fates; they would all know to loose their power.
Good Prince Trian raised with stern attention; ever the traditionalist.
Great Prince Kodin raised with love; that which the older could not have.
Corrupt Prince Bhelen not raised at all; leaven to imagine his own rules of the world.
Scheming however coming natural for the unspoiled; that is the nature of dwarven kin alike.
Naïve faith being the trait of the middle; inspirational and strong, carried by those who trust in him.
Stern dedication being the agenda of the oldest; raised to hold the throne.
Three sons, similar fates; they would all know betrayal.
Trian rules, Kodin commands and Bhelen deceives; three roles one fate.
Selfish plans unfold; the Tyrant Prince Bhelen slays his kin, frames the other.
Into the deep the assembly judge; Great Prince Kodin is exiled, memories forgotten.
Good King Endrin; deceived by his blood, dies of heartbreak, the city in ruins.
The Tyrant claims rule, only one man resist; Good Lord Harrowmont the noble.
Opposing Prince and force; there is no hope, but Good Lord Harrowmont fights.
Returning from the dead; former Prince Kodin!
Emerge from the surface, his blood Greyed, his heart stoned.
The fight against the deceiver he joins; the backing of respected wardens, turning the tides.
In favour of old friends; a proving is won and the Carta slain, Good Prince Kodin impress.
As a last act into the deep he return; in search of a paragon and the secrets within.
Returning as victor, Prince Kodin brings news; a crown forged by Branka he holds.
Harrowmont crowned and a revenge fulfilled; Bhelen attacks and is slain by his kin.
Last of the Aeducan's, Noble Prince Kodin; presenting a gift.
Discovery of an Anvil, the one of the void; the force of the Golems return to the dwarves.
Prince Kodin returns to his fellows, to the surface he goes; to defend kin and alike from the spawn's might.
With Golems and Dwarves; Good Prince Kodin challenge the spawn.
Marching to Denerim, capital of men; Kodin brings the fight to them!
Leaving corpses in his wake; he conquers the city, slaying the Archdemon, returning the peace.
Reinstated, named Paragon and returned to Orzammar; Good Prince Kodin founds a house in his name.
In honour of loyalty and as a last act as dwarf; he names his fellow, the warrior Gorim, to be head of his house.
Leaving again for his fate is sealed; his purpose is to fight Darspawn on the surface and below, to Ameranthine he go.
Warden-Commander, Hero of Ferelden and Paragon of Orzammar, a greater Hero the dwarves does naught know.
