"Oi."
The word is quietly spoken, yet there is a sort of power in her voice, a sort of command that says, "Listen to me or die." And apparently, it is quite scary too.
She watches in amusement as the guy freezes and lets out a moderately loud girlish squeak. He turns to look for the speaker of the voice, his eyes widening as his eyes land on her. She supposes she's not so pretty, as it had been a while since she had ever looked in a mirror. Such a pity the rules didn't allow sharp objects to be given to convicts…
She glances at his sharp features, taking particular note of his well-groomed spiky hair. Ah...so she had one of those vain boys. She gives a small smile.
"Huh…You're pretty cute compared to the other guards who pass by…" She muses. The man stiffens and casually reaches for his weapons pouch. So he thought she was going to seduce him. That meant he was either cautious, or very confident of his looks.
Her grin widens.
"No, you're not that cute yet. Maybe in a few years…" She purrs, and winks at him suggestively at him. Inwardly, she laughs at his reactions.
She starts to get up and slowly takes small steps towards him.
"What's your name, boy?"
"Hagane Kotetsu."
Husky and low. She decides she likes his voice.
She walks even closer, close enough so that she's nearly touching the bars. She knows to be wary of the bars, as they have an exploding note on them.
"Hmmm…Hagane Kotetsu…" She plays with his name. Batting her eyelashes prettily, she stares straight at him. "May I call you Ko-chan?"
"N-no!"
She sees her chance and FWISH—her hand is already back inside the bars, now in possession of an orange book. She smirks victoriously.
"Ah-hah…Though I find it quite a turn-off when I see men reading this, I must thank you graciously for having this in your possession. I had been wanting to read this for some time now."
By now, he has realized the book he was holding is gone, and is protesting its theft.
"Hey!! That's not even mine!! Shiranui forced me to borrow it!! I have to give it back to him in a week!"
She waves off his complaints with a breezy hand, already excitedly opening the pages.
"Ko-chan, next week, make sure to bring me a mirror and a comb…Oh! And also, I would like some make-up." She orders. "Dismissed."
She retreats to the back of her cell, ignoring his calls.
Ah yes, it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
AN: Huh. This was a really random little drabble that just came up. Well...whaddya think?
