Disclaimer: I don't own the Secret Garden and really I don't even own the idea so much. It was inspired by the qoute "There's a difference between not trying and not suceeding"

Neville Craven knelt at the grave of his younger brother's wife… the woman he loved. He couldn't help it. He was sobbing.

"I know you can't hear me," he said, "but there are so many things I want to say. There are so many things I didn't have the courage to say because I knew it was wrong

"There are so many things I regret. I regret not telling you I love you before you met my brother. I regret… well most of all I regret that I couldn't save you. OH GOD! I am so sorry I couldn't save you"

He heard a gentle wind and a transparent woman stood before him. It was obviously Lily.

"You have nothing to be sorry for," she told him, "You did all that you could"

"Clearly not enough," he said

"It was," Lily assured him then disappeared and for once he felt better.
