Two different people, similar dreams,one interest, under the same limitless sky. And among all the astronomical objects visible on Earth, the Moon was present like any other day. While gazing at the night sky, Minami was continuing his studies on rocket science, with books scattered on his desk. How can he design a vehicle that can guarantee successful space travel; the thought never cease to cross his mind whenever astronomy was filling it. It wasn't just for his mere happiness if one day he was able to reach his expectations, but also for that one person.
Curled peach locks, pale skin, dull grey eyes with ambitions of becoming an astronaut and seeing soccer as training for it. Hoshiuru Kaguya was that one special person. Seeing the boy serious with his hopes of travelling in space made Minami drawn to him more than he expected. Sure he looked up to the fellow, but he never thought of a much special place for him.
At his desperate days with the lack of encouragement and confidence, the only thing that kept him going was to see the smile curled up on his pale cheeks as he boards the rocket he created one day. As he escaped his train of thoughts, he gazed at the sky once more. Sirius, the brightest star as seen from Earth. 'One day.' He smiled confidently, drawing all his hopes on a shooting star right before he continues his studies. The stars that twinkle in the night, with a strong flickering shine. For that precious smile, I'll draw out my hopes and become a falling star.
