Poly Souls
Fire and Ice! Be warned!
Draco Malfoy ran down the dark dungeon hallway leading to the Slytherin common room. He passed Snape's office, quickly listening to the voices coming from inside.
"She is in serious trouble now, that little miss perfect!" Snape's voice sounded.
"Serverus! There's no need. All she did was borrow-" Professor Mcgonagall said 'borrow' kindly, as though to calm him down, "- some ingredients..." Her voice trailed off as Draco stopped listening. He dashed off, heading for the wide, metal door. Time seem to take ages to pass, but by the time Draco had got to the sofa in the middle of the silver-on-green room, it had only been thirty seconds. He leant on the back of the sofa and panted as the run had been vigorous and had took a lot out of him. He stood up and walked over to the chaise lounge, where he collapsed in a heap of robes and human. He then stretched out, yawned and then went limp, in the shape of a star, his limbs sprawled out in different directions.
He watched the passings and goings of Slytherins and Professors alike; Pansy and Millicent chatting away and giggling, Crabbe holding hands with some student, and lots of other events. It was only when another Draco Malfoy, (from now on called Malfoy), was coming down the stairs that the Draco on the chaise lounge moved and ran towards the stairs. Malfoy did not look to be taken aback by Draco but grinned instead and ran back up the stairs, with Draco following.
Malfoy ran into the boys dorms and, after Draco came into the room, closed and locked the door. Draco, not Malfoy, ran to the nearest bed and drew the curtains around it. Within moments, a young red-headed girl emerged for the bed and put her arms around Malfoy.
"Draco," Ginny Weasley sighed happily, as Malfoy gently put his arms around her. They were in a warm tight embrace that the Gryffindor and Slytherin Houses had divided time and time again.
"My dear Ginevra," Malfoy said as he released himself and her from grip. He then laid a kiss upon her lips. He could taste her cherry lip gloss, as their tongues entwined and she could smell his hair as they murmured their satisfaction. The kiss would have lasted for an eternity if not for Theodore Nott banging of the door.
"Come on... whoever!" Theodore shouted loudly as his fist pounded on the door. Ginny and Malfoy separated from each other with fear on their faces.
"Do you have another Polyjuice potion?" Malfoy said in a hushed, worried voice, his eyes wide.
"Sure," Ginny said, producing a vial from inside her robes, and uncorking it. "But who to transform in to?" She was wandering around the beds and grinning. All the beds covers were askew as the Slytherins were a very untidy bunch.
"Quick! Here!" Malfoy said in his hushed voice, grabbing some hairs from the centre of Goyle's bed. With that, Ginny snatched them from Malfoy, put the in the potion and drank. Within seconds, the figure of Pansy Parkinson was in front of Malfoy, sniggering way.
"Alohamora!" Theodore shouted and, with a slight click from the lock, he opened the door.
"Sorry, it was jammed..." Malfoy said, rubbing the back of his neck, while sporting a weary smile.
"I'll be of then; See ya' Draco, see ya' Theo'" And with that, Ginny went out of the dorm, down the stairs and out the door, never losing the cheeky grin on her face.
Theodore then turned to Malfoy and spoke: "What was you an' Pansy up to, eh?"
Draco had the best ever comeback, even if it wasn't directed at Theodore.
"What I want to know is this: What was Pansy's hair doing in Goyle's bed?"
