Friendship is one of the strongest things in the world. That relationship you create with people is powerful and unbreakable. At least, that's what I thought before the events of last week.

My name is Molly. I live in Cambridge, Kentucky with my friends Gil, Goby, Deema, Oona and Nonny. We've been Frieda's ever since we were in diapers. You'd think that a friendship like that could never be broken, we'll think again...

...

"Good morning Lexington High!" Molly looked up at the tv screen to see her friend Deema, doing the daily morning announcements. "It's your girl Deema here with the latest news and gossip!" Molly smiled to herself, turning back to her stuff only to come face to face with Gil and Goby

She jumped, causing her and her chair to fall backwards. The two boys laughed, helping Molly up from the tiled floor.

"Sorry Molly." Goby said holding back his laughter, but Gil didn't even try, he was already on the floor, clutching his stomach, laughing harder than he ever did before.

"Boys, am I right?" Molly and Goby turned around to see Deema sashaying in with a new pair of earrings.

"Deema?" Goby and Molly looked at her questioningly, turning back to the tv. "But your up there, how are you here?"

"Cool your jets kiddies," Deema said, raising an eyebrow as she looked at. Gil laughing on the floor. "It's just a rerun from last week. There's nothing really major going on at school, and there's no gossip to tell, I mean we are only a month into the school year, after all."

"Actually,". Gil sat up, pulling a chair across from Deema. "I overheard the principal talking to three brand new students today!"

"How can you know something that I don't?" Deema asked and Gil shrugged. "Cause I'm better than you."

"Ha, don't make me laugh." Deema sneered. "Jokes on you, because I already knew that."

"No you didn't," Gil argued. "You said their wasn't any major news, which means that if you knew that their was going to be new students...then that would have...then you would have...hmmmm..." Gil paused, gathering his thought, but Deema used this as a moment to strike.

"You don't even know what your talking about, do you?" She retorted, smirking. "I may have lost this round," Gil said, heading toward the door. "But I'm going to win this next one."

"Where are you going?" Deema asked, and this time Gil was the one to smirk. "I'm going to go welcome the new students."

"Not if I get there first!" Deema shouted, pushing past Gil. "Eat my dust!" Molly nag Goby heard Gil shout as the raced down the hall. Molly and. Goby looked at each other and laughed, following their friends down the hall.

"That's all for today." The "TV Deema" said. "And have a good morning Lexington High!"
