Sunshine

Sunshine.

It's what she sees, what she feels when she first comes to consciousness.

The only thing so odd was that it was not the sun creating the shine, it was him.

He was glittering in brilliant facets with eyes that shone as gold and hair that danced in the non-existent wind with the color of russet bricks and clay, like the earth she could feel beneath her.

That was when she knew she had to find him.

And then there had been something else, something she had overlooked. If she hadn't been so damn wrapped up!

She had been blanketed in golden eyes and reddened hair with skin the color of alabaster, almost lighter than her own. What she didn't know was the affect that honey colored hair would have, or those almost blackened eyes that seemed to devour her with every glance, or that warm voice that felt like threads of silk against her ears.

She hadn't anticipated the strength of that bond when the one she had been clinging to seemed fine enough.

But she knew Jasper took her in the back woods of Philadelphia that she had been made for him, and he for her.

The only thing she felt sorry for now was Edward.
