Part One - Kokeile Minua

If you had told Grissom that his perfect woman was Sara Sidle and he wouldn't believe you but sure enough things evolved into romance that both had to keep under wraps from the team and mainly Ecklie who neither really liked him as they would never admit that Ecklie was a slimeball jerk.

Sara had been at home with Gil as they had both booked time off, as Gil watched Sara make them a cup of coffee it dawned on him that he had finally found his soul mate but he sometimes wondered why it took so long for him to realise the reason, he cursed it for the long wait but now he wouldn't change it.

As their relationship got more serious as Gil had asked Sara to live with him, which Sara agreed to and now as they had taken the step of living together, as Gil admired his love from afar in their kitchen making coffee and he spoke " I love you Sara." when Sara replied " I love you too Gil.".

Knowing that she loved him too, made Gil feel on top of the world in more ways than he ever thought was really possible, and now he had Sara with him, he wasn't gonna let her go not after he waited ages just to be with her despite the hurdles they had to overcome in their path to be together.

None of the team knew about them which made it more easier for them to keep their secret life together, much more of a secret and so far it had worked out well for them and they just hoped that nobody would ever stumble apon their little secret relationship that they worked hard to keep under wraps.

Gil got his coffee from Sara who sat next to him as their dog Hank slept in his bed near the warm fire, as Sara smiled at how her life had changed since she joined the team and slowly fell for Gil but she was scared to tell him her feelings but now they had, their life was perfect.

Sara knew that her future was right there with Gil in the comfort of their Las Vegas penthouse and their dog Hank who loved Sara and vice versa with Sara who finally had somewhere she could at last call home and it was just that with Gil.
