"Kairi!" Sora shouted, sprinting to the gate. The figure was blurred and distorted. Sora stopped running and blinked. As the figure became clearer the blur started to disappear, revealing not Kairi but Namine. "Na...mine?" he said slowly, realizing that he had been wrong. His heart dropped. A large black hole appeared, and axel walked out of it. Laughing, he looked at Namine. With a flick of his hand she disappeared into shadows. Another figure took her place; a heartless. Sora jumped back as the heartless lunged at him. Axel's hollowed laugh filled the air. "Remember me, Sora?" He shouted as heartless appeared around him, trapping him. The Keyblade dematerialized and was soon in Axel's hand. "How do you expect to save yourself this time?" he shouted, staring at the Keyblade that was now in his hand.
"You can't win! You might as well give up. This is your end!" Axel said joyously. Sora looked at him, no fear in his eyes, and said "Bring it!" Suddenly, the king appeared. "It's the king!" Donald gawked. "Donald, this isn't the time. Go get the Gummi ship!" the King yelled, attacking the heartless that were on top of Sora. Donald and Goofy ran, finding the Gummi ship destroyed. Pluto and Kairi were in the remains, knocked unconscious. "Kairi, you have to wake up. Sora's in trouble." Goofy said. The Keyblade was in her hand. Donald walked up and shook her, sighing. "This is no good. We're never going to wake her up in time!" Pluto jumped up at the sound of Donald's voice. He ran over and started liking him. "Down, boy." Donald commanded. Pluto ran over to Kairi and licked his face. "Wh...a" she managed, startled. "Doggy!" She said, petting him. "Kairi, Sora and the king are in trouble. You have to come with us."
"Sora's here?" "He's with the king. Axel showed up. You have to hurry!" "Where are they?" Kairi asked, jumping to her feet. She tripped on the rubble, but quickly stood back up. "Follow us" Goofy said as him and Donald started running. Kairi and Pluto sprinted after Donald and Goofy. "We have to hurry!" Donald shouted as he ran into a heartless. The heartless's number had grown, and were everywhere. " Kairi, run through them. Don't bother fighting. Sora needs you!" Donald and Goofy continued fighting the endless stream of heartless. Kairi ran to the spot where the the king was fighting. "Kairi, go over there and find Sora! I'll deal with these. He needs your help." Running through the district door, Kairi entered district three. Sora was on the ground, being attacked by heartless. "Kairi!" Sora said. Kairi ran over and started attacking the heartless. More kept appearing as quickly as she defeated them. "Sora, this is hopeless! We have to run." She looked over and realized Sora was unconscious. "No, Sora, wake up!" she shouted, kneeling beside him. Pluto appeared threw the door, followed by the King. "We have to leave, now" the King said, and then noticed Sora was unconscious. "Sora..." The King said, dropping to his knees.
