This is an Attack on Titan AU where Mikasa is a delinquent and Eren is a hot blooded private school student who feels trapped in life. Because I'm all cliché like that. I hope you all like it! It's not really planned out very well, but I promise I'll try to make it as interesting as possible.

Chapter 1
Mikasa yawned, even though that wasn't a tough girl thing to do. But not even she, who could fight everyone else, could fight her own body and it's instincts. Luckily, no one was around to see and judge her in her tiny apartment. She showered and got ready to head out, knowing that everyone was waiting for her.
Once heading down the street, she stared disinterestedly up at the sky. It was a little cloudy, but not cloudy enough that she thought it was going to rain, which was a shame, because she enjoyed the rain.
As she walked, she heard the expected whispers of, "Look out, it's Mikasa!" And, "It's The Black Panther!" That was her gang name, which she had not chosen. She assumed the black part came from her hair and eyes, and that the panther part came from the fact that people saw she resembled a cat, but "The Black Cat," didn't sound as scary, so they made it a panther.
A breeze blew by, and she shivered, pulling her hoodie down lower over her eyes.
She knew everyone was probably waiting for her, because today was the day they were supposed to go see Mikasa's greatest rival, The Killer Katana. To her, he was known as Levi. He ran a gang, same as her, and since her gang was growing, he told her they needed to meet, and discuss whether or not to extend territories. Levi was known as the Killer Katana because he fought with katana's, and if he meant to kill you, you were as good as dead. She didn't think he picked his name either, but it was still true.
The people in his gang were all older, and skilled. She and he had been in two fights, and both times, she had lost. His gang was tough.
When she reached her gang's main hangout, an abandoned house they'd tricked out to be more presentable, the others were already there. Many of them didn't go home at night at all, with no place to really call home. The only reason she had her tiny apartment was because before her parents died, they'd left her a little money, just enough to survive. She'd taken it and run away, determined not to disappear into the foster system. And determined to find her parent's killer.
They were gathered in the living room, and when she entered, they stood up.
"Good morning, Mikasa." Jean said. She nodded at him quietly, but didn't say anything, surveying them.
Jean stayed by her side, as right hand men do. Sasha and Connie had sat back down, and had started wrestling. Marco, the kindest member of her gang, was coming over with a cup of tea, offering it to her, knowing she didn't function well until after a quick cup of tea. She took it and sipped, and made a, "Mmm," sound as a way of thanks.
Reiner and Bert were sitting by themselves, like they usually did, and Ymir was on her own, sitting in a chair and carving a wooden stick she'd been focused on the last couple of weeks, bringing it to a very sharp point.
"What time are we going to meet Levi?" Ymir asked when she felt Mikasa's eyes on her.
Mikasa spoke for the first time.
"We'll be meeting at noon." she said disinterestedly.
"Noon?" Sasha said. "It's barely nine! What are we going to do until then!?" Connie and Sasha needed constant entertainment.
"Do whatever you want." she said as she turned around and started walking away.
"Where are you going?" Jean asked, following after her. She knew he had a crush on her, and she felt bad, but she just didn't feel the same way. Ever since her parents had died, she hadn't felt much of anything. It was like the world was in black and white, all the time.
"Just for a walk."
He didn't ask if she wanted him to go with, because he knew the answer. He nodded and dropped back, going over to Marco, who pulled out a deck of cards, calling Connie and Sasha over to join them.
Mikasa walked through the cold December air. She wasn't dressed right for the weather, but she didn't want to waste what little money she had on clothing. Besides, she was "The Black Panther." She couldn't show weakness, not even to the cold.
Deciding to get some early training in, Mikasa altered her path to head for the gym. She'd used a little money to get a membership, so she could stay in fighting shape. She could easily just have trained with her gang, but while each of them was good in their own way, they were no where near her level.
Just as she turned the corner that would take her within a few minutes of the gym, something slammed into her, going fast. She fell back, unable to stop herself. She fell on her butt, and looked up to see what she had hit.
It was a boy, with brown hair and green eyes, who was sitting much like she was.
"Oh, sorry about that!" he said, jumping up. He held out a hand for her to take, and after a second's hesitation, she did, and let him pull her to her feet. He was dressed in a school uniform, one she recognized as the private school a little ways away. But school had already started. Why was he so late?
She became aware that he was saying something to her, and she focused.
"What?"
He gave her a look, like he was afraid her head might have been hit, even though she'd landed on her butt.
"I asked if you were okay."
"Oh. Yes." she answered, looking into his eyes. They were a brilliant green, unlike anything she had seen before.
"That's good." he said, and then looked behind him. "Armin, hurry up! We're already like, an hour late!"
She looked over his shoulder, to see a small blond boy running up the hill after the other boy, panting as he came to a stop next to them. "And whose fault is that, Eren?" he puffed. "We wouldn't have been late if you hadn't stopped to eat!"
Eren smiled. "Hey, that donut looked too good to pass up." He turned back to Mikasa, and at this point, Armin looked up too.
"I'm sorry my friend bumped into you." he said, and Mikasa shook her head.
"It's alright."
Armin nodded, but then, as he got a better look at her, she saw the fear in his eyes deepen. He recognized her. Armin grabbed Eren's arm, and stuttered, "E-Eren, we have to go! Sc-school started."
He rolled his eyes. "Alright, you nerd, just calm down. We're going." Just as he started to walk, he turned and looked back at Mikasa.
"It's cold out. Don't you have a jacket?"
She shook her head, not sure exactly what she was feeling.
Suddenly, the boy, Eren lifted the red scarf he was wearing and wrapped it around her neck. "There. You can have it."
She opened her mouth to thank him, but was too stunned and slow. He was gone, racing his friend up the street.
She watched him go, her heard thumping in her chest.
