Yea im bored so sorry if this isnt that great. (Timothy x Lee AKA Thunder and Lightning) These characters belong to me

Why? Why am I such an Idiot? I thought I could be brave... but I geuss I'm just a cowardly bastard.

Lightning sniffled slightly, staring at the wet ground below him. It was pouring outside, and he was getting soaked... not that the white hedgehog cared. All he could think about was how he would never have the love of his life... Tears mingled with raindrops on soft peach cheeks as he remembered the day's earlier events.

-earlier that day-

Lightning's eyes focused on a mint-green cat. Her red hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she wore her usual grey lab coat over her yellow t-shirt and blue-jean skirt. She giggled as she walked next to Thunder, talking about who knows what. That girl... Lightning thought, irritated. I swear, if she doesnt stay away from him, I'm gonna break her neck! After a moment, he sighed. Who am I kidding? I could never do such a thing... either way, I need to speak to him...
With a nervous breath, he stood up and walked quietly to where his best friend was standing. He gently tapped the older one's shoulder.
"Hey, um, Timothy?"
The yellow hedgehog nearly jumped back in surprise, but then let out a sigh of relief when he saw his pal.
"Ay, there, mate!"
"Um... may I have a word with you?" He eyed Wind sternly for a brief moment. "Alone."
"Uh, sure!" He turned go the cat. "Excuse us for a moment... Man talk!"
The feline smiled and nodded.
"Certainly!" Then she walked away. After a few moments, Lightning looked at his friend. He could feel his face growing warm. "What did you want to talk about, mate?" Thunder said, smiling.
"Well... er... I was just wondering... How do you feel about Willow?"(Wind) The teenager was taken aback by this question.
"Um... She's my friend, if that's what you're asking... why?"
"Do you think... that you can stop spending so much time with her and spend more time with me?"
Okay, now Thunder was confused.
"But Lee, I hang out with you every day! I hardley ever get to spend any time with the girls!"
Lightning didn't want to admit it to himself, but he was getting mad...
"Are you saying that you would rather spend time with them than me?"
"Well, honestly, I'd like to hang out with all of you, but we all have different missions for our training, and so we can't always do that..."
"Oh really? Or is is that you don't like me? Huh?"
Thunder couldn't understand why his friend was so mad... was he jealous?
"What? No, I never said that!"
Lightning's hands were starting to hurt from balling them, but he didn't care.
"No... but you thought it."
"What is your problem, mate?! "
"What's my problem? What's MY problem?! More like what's YOUR problem!"
"Lee, I don't under-"
"Every time... I try to show you, try to tell you... giving you hints in hope that you would someday figure it out..."
"What the bloody hell are you talking about, mate?!"
Lightning's eyes began to water, but he fought back the urge to cry. As he spoke, his voice became choked up.
"Why can't you see... WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I LOVE YOU?!"
At this point, Thunder had fallen backwards somehow.
"Remember that time when you found that romantic poem on your door? Or that time you came home and found flowers on your table? Or... or how about that night we spent together underneath the stars... And everything else... DOES ALL OF THAT MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?! OR ARE YOU JUST TOO STUPID TO REALIZE WHAT IT ALL MEANT?! WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH?!"
Thunder was in shock... Lightning had never yelled at him before... but he understood why. He deserved it. He loved lightning very much, but he was just too afraid to show it... he bit into his lower lip, surpressing the urge to yell back... Tears of shame spilled down his face...
Blue eyes met green. Lightning's heart had shattered. He couldn't believe it... was Thunder... crying? He had hurt his friend so much... his eyes widened as a wave of fresh tears threatened to spill.
"T-Timothy, I-I'm so sorry..." he couldn't hold it back any more... turned and ran, sobbing as he went. He didn't know where he was going, he just went. Avoiding everyone and everything around him. A bright flash of lightning lit up the sky, soon followed by a roar of thunder and a downpour of rain. Sometime later he found himself in a dark, abandoned alleyway.

-which is exactly where he is now.-

It had been a few hours, and the ivory hedgehog figured that Thunder was probably looking for him. Though he didn't want to be found. He wished he could just sit and rot away... Suddenly karma stopped by. He heard the scrapping of footsteps getting closer. He tried to hide inside his black hoodie, but it didn't work that well.
"Lee..." said a much-too familliar voice. When the teenager refused to look up, Thunder said firmly.
"Lee, stand up." But he just tried to make himself smaller by scooting more into the corner.
"I said, stand up!" With much irritation, he finally stood up.
"Look at me." The yellow hedgehog lifted his friend's chin, looking into his eyes. He gently removed the hood so he could see his face better.
Lightning's face was red from embarrassment.
"Timothy, I-" before he could say anything else, he suddenly felt a searing pain as Thunder's palm slapped him hard across the face.
"OUCH! What the bloody hell was that for?!"
"That's for saying that I hate you!"
Pulling him closer, he said in a more gentle tone, "And this is for saying that you love me."
Lightning's face burned from both pain and fluster as their lips met in a soft kiss. At first he was surprised, but soon he slowly closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment. He could feel Thunder's arms snaking around his waist, and so he (lightning) slippped his arms around his friend's neck.
After a few moments, they seperated because air is an essential thing if you want to live. "Lee..."
"Yes?"
"I just want you to know... I have always loved you and I always will... no matter what..."
"Timothy, I'm sorry about earlier... I wish there was a way I could make up for it..."
"Don't worry about it, mate. Just don't let it happen again."
He pulled Lightning into another sweet kiss.
"Ya know, Timothy..." he said, blushing cutely. "You're a good kisser."
"Heh... Ya know, if you really want to make up for what happened..." Thunder grinned mischeviously. "I'm good at many other things, too..."
Lightning's face turned three different shades of red.
"Y-you don't mean... no way!"
"Oh yes way!"
"Whaa-"
Thunder took Lightning's hand and pulled him towards the direction of his house.
"C'mon, It'll be fun!" He said laughing. As awkward as this was, Lee was just glad to see his best friend smiling again.

THE END!
