ahhh new story, this has a lot of headcanon's
"Can't wait for the party!"
"This party is gonna be the cheese Heidi"
"Heidi please tell me I'm invited to your party?!"
All around her were comments of the like, Heidi Weinerman was throwing a party at her house tonight, and it would be the talk of the school. Her popularity would sky rocket, well she was already the most popular girl in school, but you can never be too popular.
Two girls came sprinting to Heidi, girls she recognized.
"Heidi! Heidi!" Cass Simonson's, one of Heidi's acquaintances said. "Your Party is blowing up all over the web!"
"Yeah" said Cynthia, the other girl. "Everyone's talking about it"
"So Bruce" Heidi replied. "You guys uh wanna hangout after school and help me get the house ready?"
Both girls began sweating and couldn't seem to make eye contact with Heidi.
"Uh sorry Heidi I got a thing, yeah a thing I gotta do….so BYE" said Cass running off.
"Yeah me too…..um so BYE" said Cynthia running after Cass.
Sigh this wasn't exactly new, every time Heidi tried to hang out with someone they always had something better to do, she knew people on base level, like their names and where they lived, but never more than just that.
'You know what? Whatever I'll just have more time to make the party even brucer now that I have nothing to distract me' Heidi thought to herself.
She rounded a corner to get to her next class when she heard two familiar voices that often filled her home.
"Oh man this party is GONNA BE OFF THE CHEESE!"
"I KNOW ITS GONNA BE SO BRUCE, you can start thanking me for getting us in now, Cunningham"
"AHA!" Heidi said startling the two boys and causing them to fall. "So you two were planning on crashing my party?!"
"Heidi, I live there" said Howard getting up and dusting himself off. "How could I not go to the party?"
"nuh uh, this is my party and you two shoobs aren't invited" Heidi said. "just spend the night at Sandy's"
"My name is Ra-"
"Sistah please" said Howard cutting Randy off. "If I spent the night at Cunningham's it would be to call mom and dad and tell them about your party" said howard emphasizing the 'your party' part with randy going 'ooooooooohhhh' in the back.
Both Weinerman siblings stared at each other with ferocious intensity, like a dog versus a chicken or something along those lines.
Finally Heidi sighed and relented. "Fine"
"YES" both boys shouted and began to do their special handshake.
"BUT" said Heidi stop them mid shake. "There are a few conditions you have to follow"
"Okay let's hear them" said randy raising an eyebrow.
"1. No acting like shoobs and embarrassing me" said Heidi.
"When have we ever acted like shoobs?" said randy.
Heidi raised an eyebrow.
"….alright we get it, what else"
"2. Both of you are going to come with me to this place after school" Heidi said as she gave them a paper with 'McPenney's' written on it. "I'm gonna pick out clothes for you, because you shoobs obviously have wonk fashion sense"
"Whaaat?! We have excellent fashion sense" randy defended.
"Are you two not the guys who walked into a concert wearing eye liner and two-tone dyed hair?"
"Alright, alright, what else"
"And lastly, no.3 do not, and I can't stress this e-honkin-nough, do not drink out of the silver punch bowl at the party"
"What? Why?" asked howard.
"Ugh, okay because this party is mostly for sophomores, juniors and seniors and there are only gonna be a few freshmen you guys included. That means we are going to have alcohol there" Heidi elaborated. "The silver punchbowl will be where the seniors put the punch with alcohol so the older kids can loosen up, but not you freshmen, got it?"
Randy and Howard were both looking away from her.
"Huh sorry I was distracted"
"I didn't feel like listening"
"YOU GUYS!"
"We're kidding geez, we get it no spiked punch"
Heidi pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look you guys meet me after school so we can go to Mcpenny's okay, and don't call out to me, I don't want people thinking I'm friends with you shoobs"
"Alright, this is gonna be the brucest" said Howard as he began walking away talking about how cool they were gonna be after they were seen at this party.
Heidi was about to walk away when she noticed that Randy hadn't left with Howard and was looking at her.
"What?" she asked him in a harsher tone then she wanted to.
Randy flinched. "Nothing it's just….Howard and I could have gone to this place ourselves but you're coming with us even if it risks you being seen with us" Randy explained. "Wouldn't you rather spend your after school time with your friends?"
Heidi was a bit taken back by Randy's perceptiveness, she looked downcast for a bit but snapped out of it immediately.
"Well they have plans and I have nothing better to do" she said.
"If you say so…." Said randy as he began to walk off. "See you later I guess"
Randy and Heidi departed with Randy wondering what that look was about.
After school Heidi, Randy and Howard met up behind the school to avoid prying eyes, somehow Heidi had found the time to put on a simple disguise composed of a hoodie and sunglasses that covered her face. Wow she really didn't wanna be seen with these two.
Once they got to Mcpenny's Heidi explained her situation to an employee, she produced a golden card with the Mcfist logo on it and the employee led them to another part of the store.
'Looks like being sponsored by mcfist has its privileges' Randy thought.
"This is john, he knows a lot about fashion so he's gonna be the one picking out your stuff over there in the men's section" Heidi said pointing at the men's section at the right of the store. "And when you guys have decided on your clothes come back here, I'll still be picking out my own clothes for tonight"
"Is all this really necessary?" Randy called as john started leading the boys to the men's section.
"It is if you want to go to my party" Heidi called back. "Just listen to john, hair, accessories, everything. He knows what he's doing"
After getting his clothes picked out and given tips on how to get ready for the party randy made his way to the women's section to find Heidi.
"Hey Heidi I was wondering, how am I gonna-"Randy stopped mid-sentence to get a better look at Heidi.
She was wearing a black poncho sweater with little red diamonds along the end, she wore simple grey jeans and a black and red cloche hat. Randy was honestly speechless. He knew she Heidi was pretty, but that was when she wasn't even trying, this was a whole other level that left randy star struck.
"Stop staring" Heidi said. "Do you need anything?"
"Uh nothing just, you look amazing" Randy said with a blush, he was never very good at complimenting girls, never had enough confidence.
It felt weird, she got compliments from boys all the time, she doesn't think she's ever gotten one from Randy.
"Of course I look amazing Andy" She said as if it was common knowledge. "I based this look of the ninja
"I can tell"
"Do you need anything else Blandy"
"It's Ran-you know what never mind, I just need to know uh, I um nothing, just Where do I pay for all this stuff?"said randy tripping over his words, still a little gobsmacked by how pretty Heidi was.
"I'll be paying for it"
"Oh thank cheese, I would have gone broke if I payed for all this stuff, look at it, its honkin crazy expensive"
Heidi rolled her eyes. "Where's howard?"
"He's kinda having a fight with john, I think he thinks he knows more about style than john does"
Heidi pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Well I'm gonna go home now, gotta get ready to rock this party" randy said. "Tell howard I said bye"
"Yeah, yeah, bye Rudy"
"Oh and Heidi, thanks for inviting us, we won't embarrass you I promise" Randy assured her. "Bye"
"Yeah bye…"she said unsure if he intended to keep his promise.
The party was about to start in a less than an hour, there was actually a line outside.
Howard strolled in in his party clothes, he wore a dark faded blue jacket with a hoodie inside, light brown cargo pants and a red beanie. John did a good job.
"Where's Cunningham?" Howard asked.
"He's outside waiting in line probably" Heidi replied.
"Why didn't you let him in early?"
"Because you two aren't special guests" She considered letting Howard wait outside in line too, but never got around to it. "You know what? The party is about to start anyway, might as well let him in"
"Alright, here we go!" Howard exclaimed clearly excited for the party.
Heidi opened the door and the whole school might as well have been there, a mile long line full of eager faces.
"You ready to party students of NHS?!" She asked the crowd charismatically.
"YEAH!"
"THEN COME ON IN!"
Teen rushed into her house ready to mingle and dance and just have fun, the incredible beats provided by Rudd Rhymez and his posse. Some stayed in the backyard, others upstairs. The entire Weinermen's residence was filled.
"HEY! I'M ON THE LIST!" Heidi heard a freshmen voice say before being kicked out. Naturally some freshmen tried to sneak one past the Heidi and get in, luckily she had hired Mick to be her bouncer.
"Hey, uh, Heidi mick isn't letting me in" she recognized Randy's voice from the line.
"Mick you can let that guy in" she said while checking her phone.
"Thanks, Mick, you the cheese" Randy said as he patted Mick on the shoulder, which Mick replied with a growl making randy retract his hand in fear of it being bitten off.
"Man am I glad to be out of that line" said Randy walking up to Heidi.
Heidi finally looked up from her phone to see Randy and she nearly dropped her phone. Randy was wearing a long sleeve dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, over that he wore a black vest and his black jeans. His usually chaotic hair was tamed & styled to be slick with a few curls coming onto his forehead.
'Wow he actually looks really ho-I MEAN OKAY, JUST OKAY' Heidi stopped her train of thought, obviously trying to deny the fact that under all that dork there was a somewhat attractive boy there.
"You have no idea how awkward it was standing in that line, these girls kept staring at me" Randy explained. "And every time I'd look or wave they'd giggle, I think they were laughing at me"
Heidi had a feeling they weren't laughing at him.
"A-any way Brandy, Howard's in the living room near the snack table" she cursed herself for stuttering at first, what the juice was that about.
"Oh cool, I was ju-"
"Yo Heidi, killer party bra" Randy was cut off when Buttermaker complimented Heidi. "Heeeey RC you here to? Sweet! Give me some" Buttermaker held out his fist which randy gladly bumped.
"You two know each other?" Heidi asked extremely confused, how does the captain of the wave slayers know this freshmen nobody?
"Well I used to be a buffer boy for the wave slayers" said Randy.
"Yeah it's a long story" Buttermaker said.
"Oh the one where you turned into a monster?" Heidi asked. "I'd love to hear it"
"Oh-uh, um, well I gotta jet, see ya later RC, and remember ics-nay on the oryst-ay or I'll flick you on the ear again" Buttermaker said making a dash, Adamant to reveal anything to Heidi.
Of course, this always happened, whenever Heidi wanted to know more about a person they'd make a run for it, same with Cass and Cynthia. Heidi clenched her fist a little feeling slightly hurt.
"What was that about?"
Heidi had almost forgot Randy was here.
"It's nothing" she said harshly. "Just go bother Howard or something"
Heidi huffed away, leaving randy with a sad look on his face.
Later Randy sauntered over to the snack table where Howard was hanging out.
He was about to talk to Howard when two bickering seniors momentarily blocked his path while walking.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THAT" the first one said.
"Relax, it was an accident I'm getting a sign so people will know" said the second one.
Randy wanted to know what they were arguing about, but they already walked out of earshot.
"Cunningham you have to try this punch, got some serious kick to it!" said Howard noticing Randy and shoving a cup into his hands.
"Sur—waaait, this isn't gonna be one of those situations where you accidentally got the punch from the wrong bowl where the spiked punch is, is it?" Randy asked.
"Nah, I made sure I got it from the red bowl"
"Oh cool"
As they both walked away with cups full, they failed to notice the two seniors had returned to place a sign on the red punch bowl that read 'Sorry, my shoob of a friend accidentally spiked the wrong bowl'
Besides what's the worst one drink can do to two freshmen?
Heidi was sitting on the couch watching people mingle and have fun. She mentally patted herself on the back for a successful party. But honestly she was a little bored just watching people socialize while she was just sitting there. She decided she should try and show people how chill she can be, try and change their perspective of her, this was it she—
"Uh Heidi?" Cass simonsons said to her.
"Yes?" oh well she would have gone socializing if it wasn't for Cass, yeah that's what she told herself.
Cass then whispered something into Heidi's ear which made her eyes bulge.
Heidi quickly made a run for the garage, Cass had said that Howard was using their mom's favourite vase for a game of catch. Howard and a bunch of other students were there tossing around the vase which infuriated Heidi. She jumped and caught the vase with the skill of a professional baseball player.
"Everyone leave, now….."She seethed.
All the student left in fear of Heidi's wrath. She stomped over to Howard ready to give him a piece of her mind, until of course she heard him speak.
"Heeey, *hic*what's up sistah" he slurred.
Heidi's face ranged from confusion to realization to rage then to despair, she placed her face in her palms, why couldn't things just go the way she wanted.
"Howard I told you to NOT get your punch from the silver bowl!"
"hey,ey eyey I remember specifically get-in*hic* my drink from the red bawl, I tried honkin hard to avoid this cliché situation!"
Heidi grit her teeth. "Fine, whatever, you are obviously drunk, and you—"
"How can I be drunk?! I had like one drink?"
"Ugh, u most have low tolerance for alcohol like dad" it's true their father was extremely lightweight when it came to alcohol, their mother was more of the drinker in the family.
"Heidi have I ever told you *sniff* how much I love you?!" said Howard hugging Heidi's legs regaining his ability to speak in complete sentences. "And how much of an awesome big sister you are" he said as he began blubbering.
Aww geez drunk Howard is a little much for Heidi, then she was struck with an idea.
"Howard you'd do anything for your big sis that you love right?"
"Yes!"
"Then I need you to stay here for the rest of the party"
"Will*hic* do" he said saluting.
'Good now I can just enjoy the par—wait, where Sandy? 'She thought to herself.
"Howard do you know where's Rudy is? And has he been drinking too?" she was really hoping her suspicions were wrong.
"Uh yes and yes"
"Well where is he?" She didn't need two shoobs ruining everything.
"I think he's in the *hic* living room"
Heidi speed walked for it, she had to make sure he wasn't doing anything dumb in front of all those people in the living room. She noticed him talking to a short brown haired girl in a pink dress, both of them leaning on the wall. She walked up to them, this was it moment of truth.
"Oh hey Heidi" Randy greeted normally. Clearly his cup was empty that means he had drank all of his punch.
"Heidi this is Rachel, she's a freshmen" Randy introduced them. "Turns out her brother is the captain of the soccer team and got her in"
"Omsquee you're Heidi weinerman! You always look so cute in all your gossip reports" Rachel said as she shook Heidi's hand.
"Um yeah nice to meet you" Heidi replied. "So Brandy, are you okay?"
"Other than having my name constantly wonked up, yeah why?
"No reason" okay good at least there was nothing wrong with him. "Well I think I'll leave you two alone" she said as she began walking away.
"So what were we talking about before Heidi came along?" Randy asked Rachel.
"You were telling me it was funny that I love cute things because?" Rachel replied waiting for him to finish what he was trying to say before.
"Oh yeah, I thought it was funny you loved cute things because I think you are the cutest thing in the whole city"
Heidi stopped in her tracks, did she hear that right? Wasn't randy the same guy who stuttered and got his face crimson just by complimenting girls?
"OH" Rachel said her face getting red. "W-well I don't think I'm that c-cute, I actually don't think I'm cute at all"
"Whoa, I'm gonna have to stop you right there" Randy countered, then he held Rachel's chin so they could see eye to eye. "Rachel, you are the cutest thing I have ever seen, don't forget that"
Rachel's face was red as a tomato at this point, she placed her hand on the hand that was holding her chin.
"Randy, I…."
"Woah, Haha Rachel right?" said Heidi interjecting. "I think your brother is calling you"
"I, uh, okay…I'll see you later Randy" Rachel replied, playing with her hair and still blushing mad.
"WHAT THE JUICE WAS THAT?!" Heidi waved her hands exasperatedly.
"What was what?"
"That! You were flirting with her"
Randy just squinted at Heidi as if she'd grown two heads.
"No I wasn't, I was just being honest"
Heidi looked into his eyes, it didn't look like he was lying. Unbelievable, he was flirting with her and he didn't even know it. The alcohol clearly did affect this boy, just in a different way than Howard, perhaps it gave him a confidence boost?
"Look I can't have you running around and charming girls"
"I'm not ch—"
"You could set up some bad rumours especially since I invited you, what if you do that to someone else's girlfriend? You could cause a fight to break out"
"Heidi relax"
"I'm not gonna relax you two shoobs are making it hard for me to enjoy my—"
"Is that Howard dancing on the table?"
Oh no, no no no no no. She turned around and there Howard was dancing on the table with people whooping and hollering at him.
She dashed over there and pulled him off the table. The crowd watching responded with a disappointed 'awwwwwww'
"Howard what did I honkin ask you to do?!" She fumed at him.
"Something..something, leave *hic* the garage?" was his reply.
"NOT to leave the garage!"
"Oh * hic * yeah"
"Look Howard, I want, no, I NEED you to stay here okay?"
"Okay"
"Repeat it"
"Repeat *hic* what?"
"What I just asked you!"
"What did you ask me?"
"Auuuugghhh!" She pulled at her hair in distress, she turned and counted to 10 to calm herself. "Howard please please please just stay here, and no dancing, no singing, no stripping, no fighting, just don't do anything that could draw attention to yourself, can you please do that for me?"
She turned back around to hear his reply but was met with his snoring instead. He was out like a light, well that was one problem taken care of, now for the other.
She went to where she last saw randy, but he was nowhere in sight. 'Where is that shoob now?' Heidi thought to herself. She Walked up to a girls sitting by herself to see if she had seen a purple haired kid go by, but she noticed the girl was staring blankly into space with a dumb love-struck grin on her face. Heidi squinted in disbelief for a second then looked around and spotted another one, then another and another. Unbelievable there was a trail, she was only gone for 5 minutes how many girl could he had talked to in that short amount of time?!
She followed the trail of infatuated girls until it led her to the Dance floor. There she found Randy dancing, not just dancing but dancing with the captain of the Dancing Fish, and he was actually keeping up with her?
Heidi thought about breaking it up but there was a big crowd watching them go at it and putting a stop to a dance off everyone's enjoying might label her a shoob.
"Not bad, freshmen" Heidi heard Morgan say.
"A compliment from the Best dancer in norrisville? Kinda honored right now" Randy replied.
Randy and Morgan's dance ended with an expertly timed dip.
"So freshmen that all the moves you've got?"
"Baby I'm just getting started"
Morgan began leaning her head closer to Randy's. Heidi knew she had to put a stop to this
She disguised her voice and yelled "Hey is that the ninja in the backyard?!"
The crowd quickly dispersed at the chance to see the protector of norrisville. Heidi took the opportunity to split up Randy and Morgan.
"Hey Morgan!" Heidi said getting in between the two. "I need to talk to Andy alone, it's important"
"Alright" Morgan said as she left the dance floor. "See you later freshmen" She winked at Randy.
"I told you not to do that!" Heidi berated Randy.
"I was just dancing with her" Randy defended.
"Yeah right! You two were practically about to make-out!"
"Heidi you really need to relax" He said putting a hand on her shoulder, sensing her stress. "Enjoy your own party, loosen up a bit"
With Rhymez and his crew outside looking for the ninja as well, the music automatically switched to the next beat they on the list which happened to be a slow song.
"Perfect" Randy said as he reached a hand out to Heidi. "Wanna dance?"
Heidi was honestly a little shocked by this.
"What? No! Someone might see us" She said.
"C'mon everyone's outside looking for the ninja which by the way I'm pretty sure isn't there"
"Why do you even want to Dance with me right now? After I just snapped at you"
Randy shrugged. "Like I said you need to relax and maybe a dance might just do the trick"
She hesitated for a second, she looked around again to make sure no one was around. She took his hand and let him pull her close. She placed her hands on his shoulders and he placed his on her hips.
They started moving rhythmically to the slow and mellow beat. Heidi looked at Randy who had closed his eyes with a half-smile on his face. He looked so peaceful, so relaxed, Heidi began noticing other things about him, when she touched his hand it was rough and calloused, but it was gentle too. He was also taller, when they were younger she always towered over him but now he's a little taller than her, she noticed how broad his shoulder were they used to be much narrower, he didn't remind him of the same kid who hung out with her brother every day, then again it's not like she knew him well enough to compare.
She tried to relax like Randy said but she was to tense thinking someone might come in and see them. Her ears picked up a shuffle coming from the hall, people were coming back already.
"I think that's enough" She said as she stopped dancing. "People are coming back"
"So?" Randy replied raising an eyebrow and not letting go of her hips. "You were starting to loosen up"
"Yeah, well it's over now" She said trying to squirm out of his grip, but he wouldn't let go. "Let go already Sandy"
"First off it's Randy" Randy said seeming to have also lost his calmness. "Second why should I let you go? You're just gonna act wonky again and try to stop me from having fun"
"I'm not acting wonky and I'm not trying to stop you from having fun!" She said wrenching herself free.
"Oh really?!" Randy retorted matching Heidi's intensity. "Then why are you trying to babysit me and Howard?!"
"I'm babysitting you two because I'm trying to keep up my reputation you shoob!" She started yelling at the boy.
"Why do you honking care so much about what people think of you!" He yelled back.
"You wouldn't understand!"
"Why wouldn't I understand?!"
"You just wouldn't!"
"Why?! Because I'm an unpopular shoob!?"
"No..thats not—"
"Because I'm a freshmen nobody?!"
"No—"
"Because Howard and I are wonky nobody's which you keep reminding us of! You always talk that way to me and Howard as if we're a couple of nobodies to yo—"
"BECAUSE YOU HAVE FRIENDS! THAT'S WHY YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND"
Randy stood shocked at her outburst, while Heidi just stood there her face scrunched in a scowl at the brink of tears.
"Enough, I'm leaving you alone like you asked!" She said as she walked away.
As people walked in to the room wondering where all the shouting was coming from Randy paid them no mind and just stared sadly at where Heidi had walked off.
Heidi was sitting on the roof just watching the stars and ignoring her own party downstairs. She heard the window leading to the roof open up and Randy's head pop out.
"How'd you know I was here?" She asked not taking her eyes off the sky.
"I guessed" He replied, taking a seat next to her.
They sat in silence for a while.
"Heidi….are you lonely?" Randy asked.
Heidi bit her lip remembering the screaming contest she had with this boy a while ago.
"I know what its like" He continued taking her silence as a yes. "To have a kind of job, a title that everybody knows you for, a mask that is everything to you and stops people from seeing the real you"
She took her eyes of the stars and stared at him.
"To have this 'mask' we wear that we love but…we wear it so long that people only know us for it. It's hard to forget that we aren't our job, it's hard to try and remember we aren't our mask. But that's why I'm so glad I have howard, he reminds me that I'm much more than my mask, that it doesn't have to define me"
"Well that's just it!" she snapped. "I don't have any friends to tell me that! That's why I'm so mean to you and Howard all the time I'm jealous of what you guys have"
Randy looked at her with sympathy in his eyes.
"No one trusts me!" she continued tears falling from her eyes. "They all think I'm gonna blab their biggest secrets! They always keep their honking distance from me like I'm the dang plague! I hate it so mu—"
"Heidi I…" Randy said cutting her off and placing his hand on her shoulder. "I am deathly afraid of chickens"
'What?' Heidi thought in disbelief, her tears stopped falling from the shock. She stared at Randy's face which was stoic and serious. She could suddenly feel her laughter coming up from her throat, she held it in till she couldn't hold it anymore and she burst out laughing.
"Go on you can laugh" Randy said chuckling himself with her.
"Oh my cheese!" Heidi chocked out. "That is hilarious, chickens?! Seriously?!"
"Hehe yeah….If it ever got out I bet the whole school would eat it up" He said.
Heidi stopped laughing and bit her lip at realization at what the boy was doing.
"But I trust you" Randy said.
No one had ever done something so nice for her before, despite her being so mean to him all the time he put her trust in her and gave her one of his biggest secrets.
"Why?" She asked in a whisper feeling like she didn't deserve Randy's kindness.
Randy shrugged. "Maybe it's because I've had a drink or two and am too drunk to care" He said chuckling which earned him a shove from Heidi. "Or maybe I just wanted to see you smile for a bit at your own party"
She looked down in fear of tears falling again, but maybe not the same type of tears as earlier. She rested her head on Randy's shoulder and He rested his head on hers.
"So…besides me basically screaming 'I'm a loser with no friends' what else made you think I was lonely?" She asked content with their position.
"Hehe, well you'd rather chase me and Howard around than enjoy your own party, you'd also rather practice driving without a car and babysit Howard and I than hang out with or even just call your 'friends' plus I almost always see you either on T.V or at Your house, that says you don't actually get out much do you? I mean how much of 'I'm a loser with no friends' can you get?"
"hmph" Heidi pouted.
"I'm kidding" Randy said noting how cute she looked when she was mad.
They fell into silence, not awkward silence, more like contentment. Both teens closed their eyes just listening to each other's breathing. Randy leaned back to lie down on the roof with Heidi following suit and still resting her head on his shoulder. Heidi heard light snoring coming from Randy, as she was about to follow his lead she suddenly got a text from Cynthia that read "Howard woke up and is doing some crazy stuff" even with the word 'crazy' highlighted she decided to ignore it and just enjoy the moment for the first time tonight, and with that she fell asleep with Randy Cunningham on the roof.
The next day at school Randy and Howard entered the school. Randy had a minor headache and only remembered what generally happened last night, he talked to some people and he danced, but he couldn't exactly remember anything specific, ah well. Howard on the other hand had a huge hangover, he wore sun glasses to block out the too bright light he also wobbled and dragged his feet.
"This honkin sucks" Howard said. "I can't remember anything that happened last night. What if I did something shoobtastic? Ugh, my rep must be down the toilet now"
"Howard, you didn't have a rep to begin with" Replied Randy.
"Yeah well now it's in the negatives Cunningham, the negatives!" Howard clutched his throbbing head after his outburst.
Randy just patted him on the back with pity in his eyes.
Suddenly a mob came rushing at Howard and Randy's direction. It looked to be composed of mostly upperclassmen, the people from the party. They were all yelling Howard's name as they approached.
"AAAHH Cunningham an angry mob is coming after me" Howard said. "Hide me! Ouch don't shout so loud Cunningham"
"I didn't, you did"
"Whatever just hide me, Cunningham"
Howard hid behind Randy's legs, but Howard's wide frame was such an obvious contrast to Randy's skinny legs that it was futile.
As the mob grew closer, Howard braced himself for his fate. What had he done that had incited the upperclassmen's wrath? Well whatever it was, he was about to get what he deserved.
Suddenly the upperclassmen seized Howard and cared him over their head, chanting 'Howard!' the whole while. This wasn't an angry mob, these were fans.
"What the juice?" asked Howard. "You guys aren't gonna like kill me?"
"Why would we do that bro? You're awesome!" yelled someone from the mob.
"You were so sick last night!"
"You were the brucest!"
"That back flip of the roof was the cheese man!"
The crowd started moving while carrying Howard still chanting his name.
"Yes! Finally, I'm getting everything I deserve" said Howard. "Keep saying my name! But could you guys do it quietly, my head is killing me"
The crowd began chanting Howard's name in a lower voice.
"See ya later Cunningham, I'm off to enjoy this" Howard told his biffer as he and the crowd exited the hallway.
Randy raised an eyebrow then continued walking down the hall. He was too lost in thought trying to remember any specific things that happened last night that he didn't notice he bumped into someone.
"Oh sorry" Randy apologized. The person he bumped into was none other than Rachel, he remembered talking to her a bit at the party but nothing more than that.
"Don't worry abou—"Rachel stopped herself when she noticed who she was talking to, Her face gained a mad blush. "Oh-I-Hey Randy-I um-How are you?"
Randy raised an eyebrow at the girls flustered answer.
"I'm okay" Randy said. "How are you doing?"
"Oh I'm uh fine" She said playing with her hair. "I gotta go now, I'll uh see you later"
Rachel dashed off, leaving Randy even more confused.
As Randy walked up to his locker someone placed their arm at the side of the locker and cornered Randy.
"Morning, freshmen" Said Morgan, eyeing randy like prey.
Randy didn't even reply, he was honestly a little scared right now. He remembered seeing her on the dance floor and everything after that was a little fuzzy.
"Well see you around, freshmen" said Morgan as she took her leave, winking at him.
Randy was extremely confused at this point, he noticed that a number of girls were blushing and side eyeing him, some giggled when they made eye contact. 'What the juice did I do last night?' He asked himself.
"Guess you reap what you sow" Said a familiar voice behind him.
Randy turned at his eye met those of Heidi Weinerman.
Randy looked at her pensively.
"What?" She asked.
"You're not gonna say or do anything flirty are you?" Randy asked.
"Don't flatter yourself" Heidi said looking at her nails. "Besides I thought you'd have expected this after everything you did last night"
"What exactly did I do?"
"You don't remember?" She asked sadly, fearing he might have forgotten their little chat from last night.
"Bits and pieces"
"Oh well…" She said as she turned to leave, she had thought that they could have been friends after last night, but of course life played some cruel joke on her. "Guess I'll see you around…"
Randy wasn't sure why, but something told him he had to reach out to her. He grabbed Heidi's hand and didn't want to let go.
"Heidi, um this is gonna sound weird but…I feel like I trust you and that we became friends?" He said unsure of himself. "Would, Would it be cool if we ate lunch together? I mean I know you don't wanna be seen with an unpopular—"
"Yes" Heidi replied cutting him off. "I would love that,San-I mean Randy"
Randy smiled an infectious grin and the two walked together.
The end.
Welp thats it folks!
