I Never Knew
AN: Inspired by the Victorious promo for season 2, and takes place after Beck tells Jade to have a time out. Writen by Remus Girl Jaggie Bade

Jade stormed out of the room, furious. How DARE Beck order her to have a time out! She wasn't a child! Why would he do that? 'Maybe he doesn't love you anymore' a voice in her head thought. 'Rubbish, of course he loves you' her heart reassured her.
"Jade, why'd you run out like that?" asked Beck, following her into the room.
"Why did I run out? Why did YOU order me to have a time out?" Jade spat, whirling around to face him.
Beck cuckled 'Is that why she's so upset? It's not that big a deal'
Jade's POV
Is he LAUGHING at me?
"Beck, why are you laughing? It's not funny!" His laughter died down, and he explained.
"It just doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. I mean, you were makng fun of Tori when she was in enough pain."
I sighed. He just didn't get it, did he?
"Look, Beck, Tori makes me feel insecure at times, because I always feel like she's better than me when she always gets all the lead roles in plays and everything else she tries out for she always gets the top spot, not to mention she KISSED you on her second day at Hollywood Arts, so I'm always afriad she'll steal you from me. So, maybe I'm GLAD she feels stupid because now she'll get a taste of what I felt the day you two kissed. And another thing, it makes me feel...like I'm less than you when you punish to get me to try to be nice to Tori, like when you wouldn't let us be together unless I was nice to her, and when I am nice, you don't even say 'Great job, I know how hard that was for you and I'm proud of you.' Is that too much to ask?"
Beck's POV
Wow, I never knew she felt that way.
"Jade, I never knew that. I thought punishing you would work to get you to be nice to Tori, but apperently I was wrong. I'm sorry, and from now on I'll enourage you in positive ways. Oh, and another thing, she'll never 'steal' me, because my heart belongs to you, it always has."
~~~six months later~~~
"You shouldn't have played with Tori's feelings like that! And just to get a good grade, how stupid is that? She deserves so much better than you, scum bag!" Jade spat at Tori's ex boyfriend, walking away, not bothering to look back to gauge his reaction to her words. 'He deserved it, he shouldn't have done that to Tori' she thought, smirking.
She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to face Beck. He was smiling
"That was a real winner thing you did babe," he told her, "I'm so proud of you"
