Joy and the other emotions were so bored. Riley was about to go to bed. "I have a great idea!" Joy exclaimed "Let's have a game night when Riley goes to sleep!" "I'm not doing it," Anger said. "I'll do it," Fear and Sadness said at the same time. They both looked at each other. "I guess I'll join in," Disgust said. "Okay then Mr. Party Pooper over here can be on dream duty," Joy said pointing to Anger. "Fine as long as I'm not in this," Anger said. "Into my room!" Joy exclaimed.
"What are we playing first?" Disgust asked. "Candy Land!" Joy exclaimed. "Fine but I'm not landing on the licorice," Disgust said sitting down. Joy is yellow, Fear is red, Sadness is blue, and Disgust is green. "Okay it'll be me, Fear, Sadness, then Disgust," Joy decided. She drew green and moved her piece to the first green she saw. "Your turn Fear," Joy said. Fear drew a card. "Two purples!" he exclaimed. "This is gonna take a while," Disgust mumbled.
The game took a while until Disgust is in the lead. "Sadness your go," Joy said after Fear had his go. She got two purples. "Ooh look you're in Lollipop Woods!" Joy exclaimed. "Yay," Sadness said, depressingly. "My turn," Disgust said. She drew a purple. "Yes!" she exclaimed "Almost to the finish line!" Joy's turn. Two oranges. Fear's turn. He drew...the chocolate!? "What!?" Disgust exclaimed, standing up. Fear was ahead of her. "Disgust sit down it's just a game," Joy said. Sadness' go. She got the icecream. She had to go back. "That's just how things work out for me," Sadness said.
After a while, Disgust and Fear we're neck and neck on a orange square. Fear's turn. He drew...uh oh...two yellows!? "Fear wins!" Joy exclaimed "Good game everyone!" "What!?" Disgust exclaimed "HOW DID HE WIN I WAS SO CLOSE!" "Oh dear," Fear gulped. "I'M GONNA GET YOU NOW!" Disgust screamed. Disgust chased Fear out of Joy's bedroom and down the stairs.
Meanwhile, Anger was watching a really sad dream. Riley got a dog and then it died. While he was crying and watching the dream, Disgust was chasing Fear behind him.
After Disgust was finished chasing Fear all around Headquarters, they decided to play Sardines. Fear, was hiding. "Let's count!" Joy said. "1...2...3...4...5," they all counted.
Fear looked for a place to hide. He finally found a place, under his bed. "They'll never find me," Fear said, smiling.
"28...29...30!" they exclaimed "Ready or not here we come!" Disgust walked into Fear's bedroom, thinking he'll be hiding in there. She looked under the desk. No Fear. She looked under his bed. "Found you!" she whispered and crawled under his bed to hide with Fear.
Joy looked under the couch Anger was sitting on. "Nope," she said. She walked up to Fear's bedroom. She looked behind the curtains. No Fear. She looked under his bed. "Found ya'll!" she exclaimed and crawled under the bed to hide with Fear and Disgust.
Sadness slowly made her way to Fear's bedroom. She looked under the bed. "Hello," she said and crawled under the bed with Joy, Disgust, and Fear. "Well, I guess this means Disgust wins," Joy said. "Yes!" Disgust exclaimed. "Just one problem," Joy said. "What?" everyone said. "WE'RE STUCK!" she exclaimed.
So Fear had a panic attack and fainted. Anger had to lift up Fear's bed so they could crawl out. But besides that, it was a good game night that all the emotions could remember.
