I could not believe it, I wouldn't believe it. What I had just been told was not possible, it couldn't be. There was no way. I knew there was something different about me but this can't be it.
I had a feeling today was going to be different but I had no idea that what was happening right before my eyes would change the rest of my life. When I stumbled into this place this morning, I did not know that the people I met would end up being the most important people in my life. And I most defiantly did not know that what I was being told was completely true. Because I wouldn't believe it.
I started running, as far away from this crazy place, crazy people as I could get. I didn't not get as far as I wanted. That meaning as soon as I turned around to run out the door, the kid named Malcom grabbed me.
"Let me go! I have to get out of here!" I screamed as loud as I could. "I can't, you have to here this, and you have to believe it! It's your life and it always will be!" Malcom shouted back.
I still told myself it wasn't true. There was no way. It wasn't possible. I was a smart kid, but I couldn't comprehend what I had been told.
Both of my parents had never been in my life, but this still wasn't able to happen. Those people were dead, they have been for millions of years.
I did not believe it.
I could not.
What I had just been told was that the Greek gods were still very much alive, and that I was a child of one.
