This is what I imagined Austin would write in the card he gave to Ally at the end of Fresh Starts and Farewells. I did my best to make it as real and as in character for him as possible. Do you think this is what Austin would write? What do you think was actually in the card? Let me know!

Dear Ally,

Hey, so I guess you decided to stay home and follow your dreams. I couldn't be any happier for you! Both of our dreams are coming true! I'm already missing you though, and it's not the same without you. This is what's best for you, though. My dreams wouldn't have come true if it weren't for you, and now that it's your turn, I'm going to help you live your dream. Anyways, here's what I've been trying to say for a while. I'm horrible at saying my feelings, so please forgive me if what I say is kinda awkward. Ally, you're the syrup on my pancakes. You're the bright side of every day. You make food taste better. I don't know how you feel, but I do know I could never make it without you. I should go to sleep now. It's like 3 am. I can't believe I wrote this much, since I'm not really a writer. Ally, I wish you the best of luck. I may not actually be there to see you make your record, but I'll be there in spirit rocking out with you. I love you, Ally, and I can't wait to see you when I get back. Take care of yourself.
