Author's Note: I know this is not good. End of sentence. But I posted this for a specific reason: I'm looking for a beta-reader. Or even someone to just run my ideas by. It won't be a huge commitment. It's just, I'm writing a multi-chapter fiction and I'm looking for some help just for the first chapter since it's my first multi-chapter fiction here. So, message me, or comment if you're interested. Thanks.

senses (of death)
.
01. (sight)
I see a face. Looking down at me, and smiling.
I see a knife, spearing into my flesh.
I see shadows, blurring my vision.
I see death.
02. (sound)
I hear laughter, mocking my corpse.
I hear the sound of a tributes' feet, pounding against the dirt.
I hear an evil voice whispering: "You never had a chance."
I hear the buzz of a hovercraft.
Now, I hear nothing.
03. (taste)
I taste a metallic liquid, between my lips. Blood.
I feel my throat, drying up.
I taste nothing except air as my lips part open, attempting to scream.
04. (smell)
I smell blood, all around me.
I smell exposed flesh, rotting.
05. (touch)
My hands struggle to touch my skin, which feels rubbery and thin.
A cold hand touches my forehead.
I touch the dirt beneath me, and soon I feel numb.
