Skin to Skin
Alanna knows she loves George. She does. With all her heart. But sometimes she wonders. She wonders if she still loves Jonathan. She thinks she might. She doesn't want to. But it's not a passionate, fiery love. Not like they had. Not like she has with George. A love so pure and complete. It's not like that. But it's sort of close. She calls it a friendship love. It might be more. She doesn't know. She doesn't want to. You can never fully stop loving someone, she thinks. Not when you've been that close. Skin to skin, heart to heart. But it does fade. She wonders if she would have married Jon, if she could relive her live. She knows instantly she wouldn't have. She needs that freedom. That freedom she has with George. She needs it almost as much as she needs George himself. To be with her, skin to skin, heart to heart.
I'm going to try and do a small oneshot for each awesome couple in Tortall, the Copper Isles and Carthak. Review if you like!
