AN:Yeah I know, I write too many one-shots, well i'm kinda stuck on some of my storys and needed a way to get out of writers block, and these one shots are helping a bit
Lilly was laying awake in bed, as the thunder roared outside, thinking it was accualy quite soothing. But then her cell phone rang. "Hello" Lilly asked quickly. "L-l-lilly" Miley's scared voice came from the other line.
"Miles, what's wrong" Lilly asked sitting up in her bed. "I'm home alone, and i'm scared of storms" Miley said, sounding as though she was about ready to cry. "I'll be right over" Lilly said and hung up before Miley could protest.
Lilly ran over to Miley's house and knocked on the door. Miley rushed over and pulled Lilly inside. "Your soaked Lils" Miley said, and dragged Lilly upstairs. "Here" Miley said throwing something random out of her drawer at Lilly.
A roar of thunder came again and Miley jumped. "I'll just get changed, i'll only be a second" Lilly said. Miley slowley nodded. Lilly walked into the bathroom and came back 5 minutes later to see Miley crying on her bed.
"Aw Miles come here" Lilly said. As soon as Lilly took Miley in her arms, another load roar was heard in the background and the lights went off. Miley whimpered and Lilly pulled her closer.
"Miley i'm here, nothings gonna hurt you I promise" Lilly said. As is on cue, the lights flickered on. Miley sighed in relief and slowley let go of Lilly. "Miles?" Lilly asked. "Yeah Lilly?" Miley responded.
"Why are you so scared of storms, for some reason I mean I find them soothing" Lilly said. Miley smiled at Lilly and sat down next to her. "The day my mom...you know...it was storming just like this, so I hate it twice as much when i'm home alone, cause i'm always afriad my dad or Jackson will leave and wont come back" Miley said.
Lilly looked at Miley shocked. "Miles..." she started. "No Lilly, really it's ok, I mean" Miley cut herself off as tears starting rolling down her face. Lilly frowned and walked over to her and wiped the tears off her face with her thumb.
"Miley, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked about it, I should have just let you tell me when you were ready, and i'm sorry again, but i'm here for you, whenever you need me, got it?" Lilly said.
Miley smiled in spite of herself. "Thanks Lilly, and it's ok, it's not your fault" Miley said and wrapped her arms around Lilly's waist and rested her head on her shoulder. "Miley the truth is there's something i'm not telling you" Lilly said.
Miley pulled away from the hug shocked. "What is it Lilly, you know you can tell me anything" Miley said. Lilly smiled at this, but felt it slowley disapper off her face. Miley wouldn't feel the same after she heard what Lilly had to say.
"Miley, the truth is i'm in love with you, and I didn't want to tell you, because I was afraid you would hate me and never want to see me again, and now you probaley do hate me" Lilly rambled.
"I mean maybe I shouldn't have told you, but were best friends and I thought you had the ri-" Lilly said but was cut off as Miley's kissed her. Miley pulled away a few seconds later and smiled.
"What was that for" Lilly asked a little shocked. "Well one, because i love you too Lilly, and two, I had to shut you up somehow, you can be annoying" Miley said and laughed at Lilly's shocked face.
"Well if that's my reward for being annoying I'll have to do it more often" Lilly said. Miley smiled and kissed her again. After a few minutes the door to Miley's room opened and Jackson walked in.
"Miles, i'm ho-SWEET NIBLETS, I DID NOT NEED TO SEE THAT" Jackson yelled, but was smiling none the less. Miley looked scared until she saw his smile. She breathed a sigh of relief and felt Lilly do the same.
"Well i'll be in my room" Jackson said. He smirked as he closed the door. "Bout damn time" he thought to himself.
