Prologue:
The Little Mermaid stared hopefully at the human lying on the ground; his pasty white shirt ripped and scattered, his ivy green shorts practically missing. Her large blue eyes drifted sadly to the bluest of oceans beneath her, the small tumbrels of red hair around her face blowing with the wind to block her eyes. With a sigh she brushed them away, her palms gripping harder to the dusty rock surface.
"Ariel." A large voice boomed from behind her; his soft and apologetic face hidden behind years of laughing and the all mighty grey beard which swayed down between his chest. "It's time to go home."
A large gust of wind made Ariels head turn to face her father; the 'Almighty King Triton' , his golden crown tilted very slightly and his trident poking out of the top of the water made him seem just a little bit to innocent; making her squint.
Ariel shook her head as she dived into the water; her salty tears disappearing and mixing with the sea water as she dived below, fishes of all kinds surrounding her; their mouth open, but not a word being spoken.
"I will never forgive you for this...not ever." She turned; her green tail swishing in the water as she headed back towards Atlantica. Her home. For now.
