Weeeeel ... I guess I had to begin somewhere in this challenge. So here's my first story. Not the first one I began for the challenge, but the first one I finished (which is a big difference). It's short, rather useless when you think about it, but I had fun writing it ^^.
As I'm a French speaker, there must be some mistakes and strange uses of the language. Feel free to correct them, me and my English teacher will be grateful forever.

It was the last time he committed such a mistake.
Well, as the things were going on, it could just be the very last mistake he would ever make. The very last thing, in fact.
He knew that seeing death coming for you was part of the job. He had known it from the beginning, and had accepted it. But he had never thought it would come that way.
He understood better, now, the looks people threw him when they left. The mute fear from the geek one. The incredulous look, wondering about his sanity, from the childish one. The disapproval tainted with sadistic humor from their boss. They all knew what was waiting for him. No one bothered to warn him. Morons.
Beginning to see his life retold in front of him, the brand new agent Rob Duncan grabbed the panel more firmly and turned to look at beautiful but completely insane woman beside him. She smiled as she went by a car on the wrong side of the road. And she was enjoying herself ...
So there was reality behind the legend ...
If he happened to survive all the way till their destination, he would never let Ziva David drive again.

And that's it ! I hope all the words I used exist, and that I used them correctly (I had never imagine there was some many ways to say 'tableau de bord' in English ...). I think I'm gonna use Rob in other stuffs, maybe even in a multiple-chapters story. Maybe in English, maybe in French, I don't know. Anyway, the magic green button is right there !
