A small cry was muffled by rubble as a large white hand burst from the rubble. Slowly a large white form emerged from the concrete, his hand clenched the side of his abdomen tightly and he panted heavily as he used his other hand to pull him from the destruction and towards a red motorbike. The bike was badly damaged, it lay on its side and was motionless. The white mouse sobbed as his fingers slid over distorted metal. "Girl." He whispered. His horror turned to elation as the headlight flickered on and the engine revved. "Thanks Phobos and Deimos." He whispered. "We've got to get home girl. Can you get us home?" The red bike seemed to whine, he carefully helped her up onto her wheels and she spun several times on shaky tyres. His vision was blurry and weak but he admired the sleek form and fast moves before she came to a stop beside him. Weakly he climbed on and clenched the handlebar tightly with his right hand whilst his left remained tightly on his abdomen. "Get us home girl."

The journey was a blur, his lungs were weak from dust and loss of blood, his vision was weak and he was sure he had a concussion but one thought kept his conscious, he had to get home. His girl revved weakly beneath him as she carried him as quickly as she could to the only safety he knew. I'm coming home bros, Charley-girl.

"We…we…couldn't find him." A grey furred mouse whispered through tears. "We searched everywhere we could but he just vanished. He's…" An auburn haired woman sobbed into pale hands, her green eyes watered and her shoulders shook uncontrollably. "Th…Throttle blames himself. He's in the scoreboard cooling off his anger be…before he informs Stoker of the loss…" The human hiccupped and the grey furred mouse sobbed as he pulled her into his arms. "I'm so sorry… Oh Deimos, Phobos, why Vinnie…why not me?"

"D…Don't say that." Charley whimpered. "I…I couldn't bear the thought of losing any of you….oh Gods…Vinnie…You fool why didn't you get out…"

"…I…" Both turned to stare at the source of the weak voice with tearful eyes. Vinnie gave a small sad smile as both cried out before he fell from his bike. Large hands stopped him from impacting the hard floor, he looked up with blurry eyes to see the grey blurring form of his oldest bro. "…I hurt…"

"I know, little one, I know…" Modo said softly. "…Charley…get Throttle…and hurry!"

Vinnie didn't hear the reply, he could only hear the loud pumping of his heart as darkness began to cloud his vision. Before he succumbed to the Gods embraces he said one last thing. "…I'm home…"
