Twilight: Ellie's Story

"Edward's story..." Ellie rolled her eyes, "has so many holes in it." She sat down and crossed her legs, "Sit, Bella."

I hesitantly sat down next to her on the couch.

"Dude, it's fine." Ellie looked at me. I shivered at the fact that I could see my reflection in her black eyes.

"Just relax and I'll tell you okay? Just give me your hand."

I did and her thumb touched the top of my hand.

Then I was sent into a different world...

I stood in front of a war-like situation. They weren't using guns though. They were using only their hands and teeth. There were snarls and growls as the two sides were fighting. Then I saw Ellie, (when I assumed she was human) with a machete in her hands, running towards a man. She jumped on that man's shoulders, cut off his head and set it on fire with a lighter.

This is a vampire war, that much was obvious. But what wasn't obvious was what they were fighting about. There were spots of gold eyes and red eyes everywhere. Everyone was a vampire (as far as I could tell) except Ellie.

But before Ellie could ever jump off, a vampire with red eyes sunk her claws into Ellie's shoulders and threw her off the other vampire. Right as Ellie turned around, the scene completely disappered.

The black from the scene before disappeaed and I saw a girl with gold eyes holding hands with a girl with red eyes.

"Ellie..." The red-eyed one said, "Nothing's going to happen. And if something does, we'll stick through it together."

"Violet...I can sense it. I SAW it happening." Ellie whispered to Violet.

Violet rolled her eyes, "Your visions aren't always right."

Ellie sighed, "I'm sure of it this time."

The scene faded out again.

The third, and what felt like the final scene, came abruptly. Violet and Ellie were holding hands while running from a pack of vampires and werewolves.

"I love you, Violet."

"I love you too, Ellie."

Ellie pressed her thumb onto Violet's hand.

Violet smiled and kissed Ellie before they let go and split up, running in opposite directions...

I felt the pressure being released from my hand and I opened my eyes. I felt tears brush my cheek and I looked over and saw it was Edward, sitting where Ellie was before.

"There's no reason to cry, love. It's all right."

I ran my fingertips under my eyes. I was crying.

Ellie stood in the doorway, her eyes a piercing gold, "Stop trying to protect her from reality, Edward. She needs to find out how awful the vampire world is."

He hissed at her, "She's not ready."

"But she's going to need to be, and fast, if she wants to be with you..." Ellie looked at me, "You don't know what you're getting yourself into Bella. Be careful."

And with that, she turned and walked away.
