If one were to ask Naruto what he thought about death, they would be answered with silence. He wasn't afraid of it per say but...what about those he would leave behind?
How would it affect them?
So why, even though he could've tried surviving did he decide to give his life?
Because he wanted to save his son.
If there was one person he wanted to save it would be his son.
He may not have been the best of Fathers but he still tried.
So when Kawaki decided to erase the 3 Hidden Villages, Naruto knew, as a Previous Kage, That he had to try and stop this threat that was powerful enough to cause such chaos.
They fought for several days and nights. But of course the battle eventually found its victim.
For that day the world lost it's greatest Hero.
For that day a man once considered the greatest enemy of the leaf lost his greatest friend.
For that day a being made of pure chakra lost his best container.
For that day a wife lost her husband.
For that day a daughter lost her father.
For that day a son lost his father, and entered a darkness that he wouldn't return from until he had avenged his Father's death.
For that day Naruto Uzumaki Seventh Hokage, son of Minato Namikaze The Fourth Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki the Clan head of the Uzumaki clan, had died.
And his death had sparked a rage so intense that even the Gods felt it from their place in the heavens.
For that was the day Boruto Uzumaki had declared the war against Kawaki and his Allies.
For that was the day the fifth and greatest shinobi war had started.
The world would never be the same again
