Twinford. A boring countrytown where nothing exciting ever happens. Or so it seemedto the ordinary town occupants.
But life was about to change dramatically for young 14-year-old Jade Juniper and all it took was a red telephone box and a strange holein the ground.
Jade suddenly awoke in the dead of nightto hear a strange tapping on her bedroom window. As she slowly pulled herselfout of bed and padded softly over to the window toinvestigate, she found herself face-to-face with some sort of robotic
fly. She lifted up the window and crawledout onto the soft, damp grass and began to follow the strange flying object up the street to a red phone box which was frantically ringing. She cautiously pulled the phone off the hook and spoke into
it.
"Hello?" She softly called into the phone, "who is this?".
A strange feminine voice answered her in strict authority,
"Followthe fly, and the fly you will find, on the ground near the Fourth of July".
"Well that was strange," thought Jade, "what does she mean?"
Jade quickly gathered that she needed to follow the strange robotic fly to some kind of place called 'The Fourth of July'. But where was that? She ran back home and climbed through her window to open her laptop. Sure enough, there was a diner on the otherside
of town called 'The Fourth of July'.
"What a strange thing to call a diner!" She thought.
