~~~~~~
It was a snow day at Capsule Corp and everyone was scattered throughout the oversized building.
Bura sat in her room, staring out her window sadly.
How she longed for it to be sunny, then she wouldn't be locked inside all day with nothing to do....
With a sigh she got up and left the room.
She walked around for a while until she came across one of the many kitchens. Cupboards fill every nook and cranny of the room. Bura smiled and strolled over to one of them and pulled out a chocolate bar.
Now Bura knew she wasn't supposed to eat it without asking one of her parents first, so she closed her eyes and searched for the nearest ki.
Lucking for her, her father was in a room close by so she closed the cupboard and skipped off down the long and winding road to get to her father.
As she was walking down the hallway, the girl picked up a strange ki. She whipped her blue-haired head around trying to find the source of it.
As her eyes met the fogged over pane of a close-by window, a far off figure appeared on the other side of the glass. Her breath hitched in her throat as the figure seemingly moved closer. With baited breath Bura watched as the shadowy figure passed through the window and towered over her. Terrified out of her mind, the girl took shaky steps back against the wall.
Footsteps broke the eerie silence and startled Bura out of her trance. She turned to the side, but quickly snapped her head back to find the shadow to be gone...
"What are you doing?" Trunks quietly walked up to his sister.
Still a bit dazed, Bura shook her heard and mumbled a reply, "N-nothing, I was just gunna ask Dad some'thn......" and with that being said, she regained her composure and skipped off down the hall with a cheery smile on her face.
Trunks stood still with one eyebrow raised. He then shrugged to nobody and looked around in confusion as he forgot what he was doing,
"Damn........"
~~~~~~
The TV faintly hummed in the dim-lighted room. The door slid mutely open, but the occupant of the room picked up the seemingly silent sound.
"What do you want?" A voice barked.
Putting on her brightest smile Bura bounded over to the lounge chair to find her father sprawled out across it.
"Hey daddy?" she chirped.
"What." Vegeta's reply was more of a statement than a question.
"Can I have this?" She waved around the chocolate bar that had been forgotten until now.
Without looking up, Vegeta muttered a "Yes" and waved Bura off.
Bura grinned. She bounced out of the room and back to her own. She smiled to herself. She always got what she wanted with her father.
~~~~~~
A few minutes later Bura had returned to her room, the figure long forgotten.
She sat in a bean bag in front of a large heater, slowly devouring her chocolate. The creamy bar melted in her mouth as she stared blankly at a wall, lost in her thoughts.
Her eyelids drooped and she slowly nodded off to sleep, with no sound except for the calming hum of the heater.
~~~~~~
Unbeknownst to Bura, an unfamiliar face watched her with wide crystal eyes. The shadow settled itself on one of the child's roof railings. It's unblinking eyes slanted sadly as the girl slept. A music box somewhere in the room started playing a soft lullaby.
The figured remained unnoticed and watched Bura, long in to the early hours of the morning.
