The Lost Story
"Mommy, wats happening?" a little girl asked. "Anna, honey, come on, hurry up dear," she said quickly as she pushed her daughter to run a bit faster. Anna was 6 years old and living with her mother, father, and her older brother. The neighborhood they lived in was a couple of minutes out of town and about 5 other families lived there also. "Where is Daddy?" Anna asked. "Helping the others now hurry along dear," her mother said quickly as she grabbed Anna's hand. There was a scream form behind and soon there were more and more screams ever getting closer as the people running behind the two girls, were falling. "Mommy?" Anna tried to say over the screams. Then there was a tug on her arm and her mother fell to the ground. "Anna, run and don't stop, get out of here and don't look back!" he mother said. Anna began to run but she wanted to make sure that her mom was right behind her, a couple of people ran past her then she could see her mother was still on the ground. There were then 4 people; all dressed in black with masks covering their faces. They were towering over her mom, then she screamed and a blinding flash of green light filled Anna's eyes. "Come on!" someone said as they pushed her towards the nearby woods. Soon the light faded from her eyes but the scream form her mother would always haunt her. "Are you ok?" asked the person, it was her older brother. "I think so" Anna replied. "Good, come on lets go before they come and come after us next," he said. "Who are they?" Anna asked. "I'll tell you once we are far away from here" he replied. But someone was following them, fast. Then her brother, hearing them coming, pushed her down to the ground and hid her in a pile of leaves that was big enough to hide her without anyone noticing. She peaked though a gap between the leaves and saw the same light that encircled her mother moments before, but this time something was different, the sound like a train moving super fast blowing its whistle went trough her ears into her brain and her brother fell to the ground. Then four voices could be heard laughing then 4 pops and they were gone. Anna waited a couple of hours until the sunlight started to hit the forest floor. She got out of her hiding spot and headed towards her brothers fallen body. When she got there she looked at his face and then stumbled back, his eyes were wide open and a look of fear that Anna had never seen on his face before. She knew him ever since she was born, he was adopted, her parents were in their late 20's. He was only 17 and just got out of school. He was always so close to her. He always played with her and made sure that she was always happy. Tears started to form in Anna's eyes. "Brother?" she asked. He did not answer. "Brother," she called as she shook him, he did not move. "Brother!" she screamed, nothing happened. Then Anna awoke with a start, covered in sweat tangled in her blankets. She was alone, alone once again to wake up to her recurring nightmare.
