Ulrich's POV
"I will come back to you. I promise." I heard those words still today. My only love said them to me just over eight years ago. She and I were so in love, and at the time, he stepfather was always trying to break us up. It was hard, but we managed it. Between Xana and everything else, we still were really close. Believe me, it was hard to beat Xana without her, but we did it. I still miss her to this day. I dated other girls, but she was my first love. She was special. She was perfect. Eight years has came and gone. I wondering what she is doing now.
Yumi's POV
"Aelita, why are you dragging me to the old factory?" I asked the pink-haired girl. Ever since I called her and told her I moved back to town, she kept on bugging me that she had something to show me. I wish Ulrich was with me. He was perfect. He was a great protector. He was cute too. I made a promise to him that I would come back, but he never replied to my letters that I sent him. He even changed his number too. Odd, Jeremy, and Aelita told me that he basically went his own way when I left. I have dated other people, but Ulrich was my first love and my only love. I wish I can see him one more time.
Ulrich's POV
"Jeremy? Odd? Why are you dragging me to the old factory?" I asked. They said that they have a surprise for me. Nothing surprises me now days. Ever since Yumi left. I asked where Aelita was, and they told me that she was waiting for us to show up. We finally get to the old factory that held so many memories. Memories of all of us as a group fighting to save the world. Memories of Yumi. I hear Odd and Jeremy talking to Aelita. Who is that with Aelita? She looks like Yumi, but Yumi's hair wasn't that long when she left.
"Ulrich?! Are you coming down?" Odd yelled at me.
"Hold your horses. I'm coming down." I yelled back. I went down the rope . When I was finally on the ground floor, I walked up the group.
"About time you finally join us. I brought someone special for you." Aelita said. She had a huge grin on her face. The girl with the raven black hair came up to me. She looked so much like Yumi.
"Do I know?" I asked.
"Yes, Ulrich. You do know me."
"Yumi? Is that really you?"
"Yes, it is, Ulrich. I promise you that I would come back. I still love you."
"I still love you. I never stopped loving you. You are my first and only love. " Yumi ran into his arms.
"I never stopped loving you either, Ulrich." Yumi stated as she kissed Ulrich on the lips.
(Three years later)
Ulrich's POV
"Ever since that day Yumi came back, she and I never spent a day apart from each other. We are closer than ever. I'm glad the my fist love is with me. We are married now, and we are getting ready for twins. Odd finally met someone. Her name is Serena. They are married. Jeremy and Aelita are married, and they have two boys. I love Yumi, and she loves me. A promise that was fulfilled came true.
