"Hey, Emmy?"

"Yes, Luke?"

"Can you give me some advice?"

"You know me, always willing to help the professor's second assistant!"

"Hey! It's apprentice number one!"

"Yeah, yeah, so what do you need?"

"Um… Well… Y'see… It's about Aurora…"

"Aww, does little Luke have a crush?"

"I do not! I just… She seemed sad, and it's my duty as a gentleman to try to cheer her up!"

"Luke has a crush! Luke has a crush!"

"Emmyyyyyy…!"

"Okay, okay! Well, here's something you could try…"

=^w^=

"The sunset is beautiful, Luke." The Azran girl's deep blue eyes were fixed on the horizon, a small smile gracing her features. The sunset was indeed magnificent that day; the red and orange sky was streaked through with pink and purple clouds. "Thank you for bringing me to see it."

"Don't mention it!" Luke laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his head as his face turned a pale shade of pink. He added, "I'm glad you're happy."

Now Aurora's gaze turned to the boy in blue, lingering on his face for a moment before dropping to the hilltop they were seated on. Lush green grass, dotted with a multitude of colorful wildflowers, surrounded them. "I do not think I've ever seen anything as lovely as this before," she murmured.

"You must not look in mirrors often," Luke commented. Instantly, his face turned beet red. What on earth had possessed him to say that?! "Um… I mean… Uhhh…"

The girl beside him giggled softly. "That's very sweet of you to say." Sle slowly plucked a nearby flower, a daisy, then another, a violet, and twisted their stems together, continuing to add more flowers to the chain. She was halfway through before her companion realized what she was doing and began making his own flower chain. Soon, each of the pair had constructed a crown of wildflowers.

Luke stood to place his creation atop Aurora's head, proclaiming, "Now you look like a princess of the forest!"

"A princess of the forest…?" The Azran girl looked thoughtful. "If I am the princess…" She paused and placed her own crown on Luke's head. "Could you be my prince? You do have a wonderful gift with animals."

The boy beamed as he stammered a "yes, thank you!" and tackled her with an overly-enthusiastic, not-very-gentlemanly hug, which she reciprocated much more calmly.

They stayed like this until the sun had faded away entirely, and night had completely claimed the land. Yes, Targent was still a problem; yes, they knew they'd have to find the remaining Azran eggs soon. But that could wait. Now, all they wanted to do was enjoy each other's company.

A/N: I'm not dead yet! Ugh, I said I'd start writing again once I started summer break, but pretty much all I've been doing is watching Supernatural. Anyway, The Mocking J requested something about Luke and Aurora being cute, back in… Early March? It's been a while. I hope it's not too much of a disappointment, haha. I didn't have any ideas for it until 12:30 this morning, which is when I wrote this, so I'm sorry if it's not very good. Anyway, I do still take requests/suggestions, although it may take forever to write, especially if I continue spending all my free time watching SPN.
