Control My Insanity-
I heard my door open, and looked at it, only to see an outline of a person. But there was only one person who ever visited me. I looked at the boy and waved him over, lifting up my blankets to let him in. He ran to me, jumped into my bed, held onto me, and started to cry. I held his shaking form as the sobs continued. When he began to calm down, I looked at him and took in how he looked. He had shaggy hair, like his idol, and his eyes were the same red, but now they were blood shot. I pulled him into my lap, which was hard, considering he was bigger than me. I started to pet his head as I talked to him.
"B? What's wrong?" He looked above my head and gave a small smile.
"Nothing you need to worry about C," I could tell that he wasn't telling the truth.
"What happened? And don't lie to me, Beyond," He flinched when I used his real name. Then he sighed.
"I'm scared for A," I nodded; he was a friend of ours who, unfortunately, was very depressed. He has tried to kill himself twice so far, both times failing because B or I have walked in on him.
"I am too, B," he shook his head.
"No, I'm scared cause I know he's going to succeed soon, Clarity," I looked him in the eyes and saw the pain, the anger, the fear, and very very deep in, I saw the seed of insanity. I hugged him.
"As much as I wish it wasn't true, B, I believe you," He tightened his grip on me, and it started to hurt.
"It's all his fault, C. And he's going to pay," I was confused.
"B, whose going to pay?" He looked at me, and I saw the seed beginning to grow.
"Why, C, the man who caused this. The man we are supposed to become. L," I looked him straight in the eye and sighed. When he made up his mind, you can't really stop him.
"What are you going to do, B?" He laughed.
"The greatest detective always needs a greatest villain," I looked at him as if he was crazy.
"B, you can't be serious!" He smiled at me and gently caressed my cheek.
"100%" I started to cry, because I knew that if it happened, then Beyond would get hurt. Through my sobs I was able to get a few sentences out. "Please Beyond, don't do this! If you do this you'll get hurt! Please! Don't leave me!" I continued to cry as he looked above my head again, this time his eyes widening in shock.
"That's impossible, it shouldn't cause this much of a difference," I heard him mumble. He looked me straight in the eyes as he spoke to me, "Promise you won't do anything stupid when I leave," I shook my head.
"You leave, and I swear to god B, I will end up like A!" He sighed and looked at me. Then he slowly leaned down and kissed me gently on the lips. When he pulled away, he held my face in his hands, contemplating something. Then he sighed.
"Fine. When I leave, you're coming with me, ok?" I smiled and wrapped my arms around him in a hug.
"Ok! Thank you, B," I fell asleep in his arms that night. When we awoke, we found out A had finally done it. That night we left.
As we were packing, I asked him why he decided to bring me along. He smiled.
"Someone needs to help me control my insanity."
