Minor Notes
Rated: T (Overall)
Synopsis: A series of one-shots on the minor characters of Avatar!
Disclaimer: I own nothing!
A/N: So, looking around I noticed that there are tons of stories on the main characters and not much on the minor characters. So I thought it'd be fun to do some stuff on the minor characters of Avatar. Hope you like it!
A/N2: HUGE Thanks goes out to my wonderful beta ferretgirl-1124! Read her stuff, they're uber awesome!

Character: Kuzon
There was a rumble outside; the storm had continued for almost a week now. He listened as the pitter-patter of the rain continued on his rooftop. The house itself was large and domineering, essential for any family of high rank. And there, in the absolute dark, one light danced solemnly in the common room.
Kuzon slumped in his chair listlessly staring at the scroll in front of him. He had read the words, understood them, but could not comprehend them. One of his closest friends had vanished and no one could understand why. Monk Gyatso had sent this dismal reply to his parents' last letter. A light smile danced across his face as he reminisced about the time they both had decided to go mud sliding in the rain. They had come back wet, and muddy. They both had gotten the worst colds imaginable, but they knew in their hearts that was the best fun they'd had in a long time.
The flame flickered and struggled to stay alive. His thoughts drifted and he found himself trembling as he recalled that his friend had said he would visit in a fortnight for his birthday. He wouldn't cry. There was no point.
"Kuzon? Are you still awake?" His mother asked walking up to him.
"Will we ever find him again?" She stopped down next to him and embraced him firmly.
"I don't know." She whispered.
The candle slowly died out.
A/N: I have this whole spiel on Kuzon… this is like part of it. So there's a possibility this will be continued.
