Chapter 1

Light P.O.V

We got back to HQ only now...I knew that I was so horrible...so blood stained...that I didn't deserve to live. I heard several task force members talking about how some people with the notebooks and what they must have seen and gone through and so on.

I smiled sadly. " I need to get some air, Ryuzaki" I said. He nodded an ok.

Ryuzaki P.O.V

I knew...knew that Light had gotten his memories back. Had seen the look on his face but he looked sad...depressed. Matsuda was still gossuping about the damn writers! I believed Light's father on them most likely being cursed and having bad luck!

I wacked Matsuda who could sometimes be as stupid as Misa. " You have a day off today, Matsuda. Get going." I said. I then headed to where Light was. I noted he was watched the sky sadly.

Hmm. " Light...want to go to England with me next week? The cool air will clear your head." I asked.

" Don't deserve that kind of kindness Ryuzaki." he said miserably. " Light-kun you just got your memories back. I sort of figured they weren't that perfect. You shouldn't be too upset." I said pulling Light into my arms.

Light laid there crying. Guess England will be great for him. I left a message saying we would be gone for awhile and to not destroy anything and so on.

-a few weeks later-

Light P.O.V

" I used to live here Light-kun. Thought you might make a few friends here and stuff and it might be something like a vacation. Matt, Mello and Near are the only ones who live here now since Beyond blew up several rooms so now its like an apartment complex." Ryuzaki said.

I gazed at the giant building as Ryuzaki lead me inside. " No useing your powers from your death note and yes I know about them. They are banned. Everyone has an alias here." he said.

I shrugged. " I won't." I said. I had gained shinigami eyes a few weeks ago. Only Ryuzaki knew though. We entered the room and met a boy with albino hair.

" Hi Near. This is Light." Ryuzaki said. Near nodded. " Hi Light-san." he answered. Near and I became friends soon. Especially after I fixed his robot which had a few pieces missing.

" You were an A plus student in high school weren't you?" Near said. I nodded. 2 other boys joined us.

" I'm Matt and this one is Mello." said one of the boys. " Nice to meet you."

" Same here." I said.

Normal P.O.V

Ryuzaki watched as Light soon became friends with the 3. " He'll be fine." George said seeing Ryuzaki's face. Ryuzaki then sat down with Light during Supper.

" Like it here, Light-kun?" he asked. Near smirked. " You 2 dateing?" he asked Light. Light shook his head but a sad look was on his face.

After a few weeks, Light and Ryuzaki got ready to head back, but Matt and Mello had decided to come with us. " It's boreing here in England and we can help you find other Kiras" Mello said.

Light smiled slightly.

-a few days later-

Ryuzaki P.O.V

" Guys this is Matt and Mello. They will be helping us." I said. Matt was playing with a Nintendo D.S. " No video games." I said. " Yet your boyfriend is toying with his eyesight." he muttered.

I sighed and dragged Light to his seat. " Light...I could have left you with one of the worse detectives" I whispered. " Now tone down on the powers." I smiled slightly as I felt my Kira calm down.

I smiled watching him. Light-kun smiled slightly at me. " So why didn't you kill me, hey Light-kun?" I asked. A few stray tears fell.

" You would find it funny but it's because I love you, Ryuzaki. I could never kill someone I have fallen inlove with." he said. He then leaned over and kissed my lips gently before leaving.
