The Emperor's Chamber's – The Imperial Palace, Coruscant
Emperor Palpatine stands at the large window, looking over the mega city below.
As he looks at the busy cityscape, the entrance behind him opens. Darth Vader enters.
Vader kneels before the Emperor, who is unmoved by his presence.
Vader: What is thy bidding my master?
The Emperor turns around in displeasure.
The Emperor: Ezra Bridger is gone, yet the Lothal system is lost. All the work we had set out to accomplish is now undone.
As Vader rises, the Emperor turns back towards the window raises his hand to the skyline.
The Emperor: Now more than ever, our enemies seek to undermine my rule.
He clenches his fist.
The Emperor: See to it that they are crushed.
Vader: I will make the necessary preperations to retake the system at once my Master.
The Emperor quickly turns to scold his apprentice.
The Emperor: You will do no such thing!
A wicked smile then appears on the Emperor's face.
The Emperor: We must be patient Lord Vader. As we speak, plans have been set into motion that this Rebellion cannot hope to undo. When the time is right, we will make an example of Lothal, reminding the Galaxy who has power and control.
He points to Vader.
The Emperor: For now, you will answer to Tarkin. His will is my will.
Vader: As you wish my master.
As Vader leaves, the Emperor moves to his desk.
He takes a seat, the window being closed off by a blind.
Enveloped in darkness, the Emperor opens a holo-projection of the Death Star, entering its final stages of construction.
