Chapter 1: Big News

Today was a sunny day, Lilica and Saki were lying in the grass looking at the light blue sky.

"This is one beautiful day." Saki commented. Lilica just smiled. Saki got up and Fiona running to the house.

"Saki!" she cried out.

"What's in your hand?" Saki asked.

"Tickets to Britain. We can visit my home." Fiona replied.

Saki was excited. "This will be my first time going to Britain." She said.

"I have enough for us all and one extra. We would have to invite someone else." Fiona stated.

"Who can we invite that would want to go to Britain with us?" Saki asked with her hand on her chin and the elbow resting on the other hand.

Lilica opened her eyes and immediately got up from the grass. "May we invite Maori?" she suggested.

Saki had a confused face. "Why did you think of her?" she asked.

Lilica had a slight blush on her face. "I just think she would want to come with us." She said with haste.

"Okay." Saki said.

"Oh great, I'll go ask her." Lilica said turning around and started skating.

Saki stared at the distance and smiled.

"Saki, let's go pack." Fiona said.

"Okay. Lilica can pack up tonight." Saki said walking into the house.

At dusk, Lilica arrived at the Kasuga Shrine. She saw Maori sweeping the porch.

"Hey Maori!" Lilica called skating over to her.

"Hey Lilica. What are you doing here?" Maori asked.

"Well, Fiona got tickets for a plane ride to her home in Britain. She got four tickets, which was enough for us, but I wanted to see if you wanted to come with us."

Maori smiled, "Yes I would like to come with you." She said jumping to Lilica and cuddling her.

Lilica couldn't resist. She felt and looked embarrassed, but the blush on her face shows she really didn't mind, since they were close friends. Deep down she was in love with Maori.

"What about your sisters, can they look after the Shrine?" Lilica asked.

"Sure, they will be fine." Maori said.

"We are leaving tomorrow morning, so I'm going to pack up." Lilica said skating back home.

Maori walked back into the house. "I love you too Lilica." She said softly.
