Tecna woke up to the rain pounding on her window, practically jumping to her feet before falling down almost immediately. She tried to figure out what was wrong with her, but then she felt it. The ache in her lungs, the scratchiness in her throat that made it hard to swallow, her clammy hands, the pounding in her head...

"Yo, Tec, you okay? You look like your gonna pass out." said Tecna's roommate, Musa.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Just a little headache." said Tecna.

"Tec, it looks like you caught a fever or something. If I were you, I'd stay in bed for the day." Musa suggested.

"I appreciate your concern Musa, but we have four tests and three quizzes today, plus homework. I'm not falling behind now." she said. Then, the pounding in her head got even more painful and it was hard for her to stand, "O-On second thought maybe staying here for t-the day may be a good idea." she thought, laying down on her bed.

"Alright Tec. I'll get your homework from our teachers. Get better Tec." said Musa, walking out. The rest of the day, Tecna's fever only got worse. The pounding in her head increased to the point that it was almost unbearable. Then, she heard someone open the door.

"It's probably Musa." thought Tecna, she saw Timmy enter the room, "Timmy!" Her voice came out raspy and rough, and then had a coughing fit. Timmy rushed to her side, rubbing her back, and offered her some of the water on her bedside table.

"Here Tec. Drink some of this." Timmy said, concern deep in his eyes. He had never seen Tecna like this before. She looked horrible, and she didn't sound to great either.

"Why are you here Timmy?" asked Tecna.

"Tec, when I was looking for you earlier, I asked Musa where you were and she told me that you were sick and that I could go straight in. As soon as I heard that, I rushed up here." He said, grabbing Tecna's hand, "How are you though?" Timmy asked putting a hand to her forehead.

"Your burning up! It's been like this all day? How bad is your fever?" Timmy rambled.

"I don't know. 103, or something." She trailed off, letting out another violent shiver. Timmy pulled the covers up to her neck, kissed her cheek, and stood back up.

"Where a-are you going?" asked Tecna.

"I'm going to let you get some sleep and I'll be right back. I'm going to be talking with Ms. Faragonda about maybe staying here tonight." Answered Timmy.

"A-alright." said Tecna.

AFTER TIMMY TALKS TO FARAGONDA

Timmy cracked the door open ever so slightly not wanting to wake Tecna and when he saw that she was still awake, doing homework, he walked over to her and said, "Tecna, aren't you tired?"

"A little, but I am not going to fall behind now. I have to finish this." said Tecna.

"Tec, come on. You need to rest if you want to get better." Timmy said.

"Fine."

LATER THAT NIGHT

Timmy was woken up from his dream about Tecna and him watching some fireworks and saw Tecna tossing and turning in her sleep, and Timmy noticed that she was crying. At that moment she woke up and screamed. Timmy ran over to her and hugged her and whispered things in her ear like, "It's alright, your alright." and, "I love you."

When she stopped crying she said, "It was horrible. I was in a cave, tied to a chair, when Baltor came a-and he had you and he, he k-killed you." and she started crying again.

Timmy just embraced her in another hug and said, "It's alright. I'm here and I'm alright."

"T-Thank you Timmy. I-I'm sorry for waking you up." said Tecna.

"Tecna, if it was three in the morning, I would come. I'll be here for you no matter what." said Timmy.

"Thank you." she said again and a few minutes later, she fell asleep.

"Good night Tecna." whispered Timmy.
