The girl, no woman between my arms moved with such grace that it enraptured the rooms' occupants. Chocolate colored curls and sun kissed skin were all the features I could see except for her deep brown eyes and full lips. A person this beautiful would never love a monster like me. I twirled her once more before bringing her down into a low dip. She curled her leg around mine for balance. The whole room applauded. Her dress was black with red accents; it complemented my suit. "Would you care for another dance?" I asked.

"I think I would Mr. Lupin," She replied with a smile teasing her lips. The ball was sadly a masquerade I which all unmarried woman in society were "encouraged" to attend and required them to hide their faces. It was a new thing set in place by the Ministry to help "bump" up magical births.

A song came on that was perfect for the Tango. We started together but she signaled to do an advanced variation of the spirited dance. I nodded slightly to alert her that I could lead her. I hoped she knew this version. I led her into the first few steps to find out that she needed no leading at all. She had the right footing and balance the whole way through. We again caught the rooms' attention.

"Ms. Granger, you are a fabulous dancer," I said after concluding the dance in another dip.

"Thank you Mr. Lupin," Hermione responded shocked that I could figure her out.

"Have you thought about my offer Mione?" I asked.

"Yes and I find it quite agreeable," Hermione responded.

"Then allow me to remove your mask."
