Three Marauders
by Sirius Black to the tune of "Good King Wenceslas"

Three Marauders went outside
'fore the feast of Stephen,
when the snow lay 'round about,
deep and crisp and even.
Brightly shone the moon that night,
and the lake was frozen
when they crept out after dark
while the school was do-oe-zin'.

'Hey, Wormtail,' said Padfoot then,
'change your form now swiftly.
We must get to Moony now:
through the branches slickly!'
'I am changing!' Wormtail said.
'Wait a little longer.
I may be the smallest one,
But your magic's stro-on-ger!'

Down they darted, past the tree,
for the tunnel making.
In the hole and out the floor,
all speed records breaking.
Moony waited for them there,
at the moonlight howling,
waiting for his mates to come
so they could go prow-ow-ling!

They had such a jolly time
roaming in December.
Fun and games in snowy climes:
best they could remember.
Therefore Animagi all,
whatever your form be,
ye who have a werewolf mate
can have fun like the-eese three!
