This is a reader insert story. I have decided that instead of putting (y/n) throughout the story I have given you a nickname that everyone uses for you, sort of like what they do in some role play games. I know that when I'm reading a reader insert story nothing turns me off it more than when you're getting into it and suddenly see (y/n) or (e/c) or something similar and it just breaks the illusion. Also to make it fun (for people and me writing) there is a female and a male reader chapter for each character which will be clearly marked. Enjoy everyone!
School had finally finished, your last class was over, your last piece of homework handed in and your last test completed. The train would be leaving tomorrow to take you home from Hogwarts for the last time. You were now of legal age and heading into a new part of your life, as were all of your friends which was why tonight you were having a large party to celebrate everything you had all achieved.
You glanced up curiously from the fireplace when you heard someone calling over the noise of the party. "We should all play seven minutes in heaven." One of the muggle born students declared, getting a few curious whispers from the pure bloods. "Everyone sits in a circle. We take it in turns around the circle to go into the cupboard. Once you're in the cupboard I'll spin the bottle in the centre of the circle and whoever the opening of the bottle is pointing to when it stops moving will join you. You won't know who the person is unless they tell you when they're in the cupboard."
Chuckling softly you joined the group that had agreed to play, sitting in the circle and looking around while you waited for everyone to get settled. It was a cruel version of the game, you had heard of plenty of other ways to play but this way was going to be very interesting. There was an even spread of people you wouldn't mind spending seven minutes alone with, and people that you wouldn't go near with a five foot pole. You hoped that you got someone from the former group.
You watched as the game started, you were near the centre from where the game started, so you had a little while to wait and watch before it was your turn. You watched as person after person entered the cupboard, some coming out looking flustered and breathless from a clear make-out session, others looking no different and had apparently spent the entire time not speaking to each other.
When it finally got to your turn you stood up slowly and walked to the cupboard. You took one last look out at the group that was sitting in a circle and hoped dearly that it was someone you fancied that entered the cupboard with you. The cupboard door closed and you heard nothing, coming to the realisation that there was a silencing spell on the door for everyone's privacy and their peace of mind.
The door opened again and you glanced up, noticing that the person who was running the game had gone to great lengths to make sure that you had no idea who was joining you. There was a spell on the person who was joining you so that you couldn't see them even with the light shining behind them from the room beyond.
You took a deep breath and let it out as the door closed and you were finally alone with the person.
