Ok. This is my second fanfic, be nice! I know this is a short chapter; I just wanted to introduce the story, if you know what I mean. Enjoy!

I woke up to the sun shining through the closed curtains, casting shadows over my fiancée and dimly lighting the room.

"Morning, sweetheart."I murmured in Jacob's ear before tenderly kissing his cheek.

"Bella." Jacob mumbled sleepily, reaching out and intertwining our fingers. The love and adoration on was face was so strong; it never failed to surprise me.

My tummy growled, impatient. I laughed and curled up closer to Jacob, my head resting on his brown, toned chest.

"I love you, Bells."He whispered into my hair, like he did every morning. I was about to say 'I love you more', but my stomach rumbled again.

"I'll make you breakfast."He offered. "How about pancakes?"

I smiled and sat up, the blanket wrapped around my body. "That would be lovely."

He slipped on a loose pair of pyjama bottoms - he never put a top on when we were alone. Not that I minded at all.

I got out of bed and opened the curtains, shielding my eyes when the light flooded into the room. Jacob had left the room now, preparing my pancakes, and I missed him already. I couldn't go anywhere without my Jacob, without him I wouldn't be able to do anything.

Jacob was always there for me. He had stayed by my side the whole time I was mourning over Edward's absence, which hurt him as well as me. Also, whenever I needed him, he would come, whether he was working with his pack or even at school. No matter what, he would come.

Edward wouldn't, though. He left me, Jacob patched me up, and that's how we got to where we are. If Edward had never left, I might not be with Jacob; I would still be with the vampire family I have grown to despise.

At first, Jacob kept a distance from me, just in case the Cullen's came back. When they never did, he asked me out, and our relationship blossomed. I shuddered at the thought of life without my Jacob, my sun.

I picked out a pair of black jeans and a pink cashmere top, putting them on and hurrying into the kitchen to see Jacob. A delicious smell met me as I walked through the door, wafting up from a frying pan filled with pancake batter.

"They'll be ready soon."Jacob assured me, pulling me into a tight bear hug. I smiled against his warm body, breathing in his familiar, homey scent.

I stretched up onto my toes so I could kiss his lips, throwing my arms around his neck and flicking my long, brown hair over my shoulder. He kissed me back willingly, his lips moving silently with mine. I could hardly believe I had ever thought of Edward as a good kisser, he would never be as good as Jacob.

"Pancakes are ready."He said when I came up for air, flicking them into the air effortlessly. He arranged them on a plate and poured chocolate sauce on them, only having one for himself.

I couldn't finish mine, in the end; he had to eat them for me. I wondered idly how he stayed so thin after eating as much as he did. All that running, probably.

"What do you want to do today?"He asked when I had finished.

I thought for a moment. "Swimming, I want to go swimming."

Thanks for reading, the chapters will get longer, I promise.
