An Awkward Conversation

Carl and Enid walker out of the Barrington House holding hands while Rick and everyone else were talking about defeating the Saviors Rick looks over at them in surprise then just shakes it off he think "It's nothing" but is really nothing. They were about to leave "Enid are you coming with us?" Carl asked

"No, if Maggie needs me for anything I need to be here"

"Okay….. I'll see you late then"

"Is she your Girlfriend?" Rick asked smiling

"What…. Uh, I don't know" Carl said

"That totally means she's your Girlfriend"

They walked into the car "We'll finish this conversation later" Rick said

Awhile after they arrived at the Kingdom they decided to stay the night to let King Ezekiel decide if he wanted to join them to fight the saviors.

"Carl can I talk to you for a minute" Rick asked

"Sure"

"So… can we continue the conversation we had earlier?"

"…..I guess"

"Soo…. Are you and Enid…. Together?"

"…Ummmm… maybe"

"What does maybe mean?"

"I mean…. Before I went to hide in Negan's truck we kissed so I guess we're kinda together"

Rick smiled

"What's so funny?" Carl asked

"I dunno, just happy you're growing up and have a Girlfriend"

"Dad please don't" Carl said laughing

"Well we better get back to the others" Rick said then hugged Carl

They left the small room that they were in

"Everything okay?" Michonne asked

"Yeah, everything's okay" Rick said smiling

"So…. Enid is Carl your boyfriend?" Maggie asked trying not the laugh"

"What do you mean"

"I mean I saw you guys walk out of Barrington House holding hands"

"Ummm… I… Umm… Yes"

"That's great when did it happen?"

"Before I came here… when we were outside of the gate we umm… kissed" Enid was blushing now

"That's awesome you're perfect for each other"

Maggie smiled then hugged her

They were perfect for each other.
