Author's Note: Just one more one-shot guys! I promise i'll get back to my Gravity Falls fic after. So anyways, this is a little one-shot idea I had for the show My Babysitter's A Vamipre which is one of my favorite shows! So anyway I hope you enjoy.
"And that's how I accidently turned my science teacher into a frog."
Grandma Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Benny. Why can't you be more responsible?"
"I'm plenty responsible."
Grandma scoffed and pulled out her spellbook. Benny grimaced at the amount of dust that flew out from the book. Benny peered over the woman's shoulder as she flipped through the old pages.
"Did you turn him back?"
"Huh?"
Evelyn turned around to face her grandson. "Your teacher? He's not a frog anymore right?"
Benny rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Well actually I-"
Croak.
Evelyn's eyes widened as her grandson pulled out a small frog from his jacket pocket. She frowned and handed him the book. She sighed and put the frog on a small ledge.
"What about Mr. Harrison?"
"That is a bridge we'll cross when we come to it."
Benny nodded as he flipped through the book. He chuckled as he passed some pages about gnomes. He bit his lip and looked back up at his grandmother. "Grandma..."
Evelyn turned away from her potions and faced the boy. "What did you do now Benny?"
The boy frowned, "Grandma. Did you know that other teenagers don't have to worry about this stuff?"
"What do you me-"
"I bet Alan doesn't have to worry about turning his teacher into a frog."
"Who's Alan?"
"I DON'T KNOW! SOME KID!"
Grandma Evelyn smirked, "Drama queen much Benny?"
Benny scowled, "No. It's just. Sometimes I wish I wasn't different."
"But I thought you liked being the spellmaster"
"I do. It's just..."
"It's hard to fit in?"
Benny looked up. "Y-yeah. How'd you?"
Evelyn smiled, "I didn't fit in neither."
"Oh really? You Miss Responsible didn't fit in?"
"I was pretty reckless with magic as a kid too y'know."
Benny rose an eyebrow, "Kid? Try young adult."
Evelyn chuckled. "You and I. We weren't meant to fit in. It's beneath us."
Benny bit his lip, "Yeah. It is."
Evelyn took her grandon's hands and cupped them in hers. "Benny wathced as a sparkling ball of light and energy formed in them. Evelyn smiled as Benny cocked his head to the side admiring the ball. "You and me kid. We're special."
Benny nodded. "Yeah." He watched as the ball faded in mid-air. He looked up as Evelyn stood. The woman dusted herself off and began to hum. He watched as she gently picked up the frog and headed towards the door way. Before she left however, she turned back to face him.
"Oh and Benny?"
The boy looked at her waiting for to talk.
"Clean up this mess."
"What me-"
Before he knew it the room was a complete mess. Benny rolled his eyes. "Thanks Grandma. Thanks a lot."
Author's note: So this just is a little one-shot I had up in my head. I mean Benny did seem a little OOC but I mean there had to be a point in his life where he wasn't so confident. Maybe in between the time of the movie and the tv series. I also like the relationship between him and Grandma (Especially in Independence Daze) people need to focus on it more. So anyway enjoy. R&R please.
