Eric could feel the glare Vienna was sending his way, her eyes threatening to burn a hole through his pretty blonde head.
"I don't wanna spend my Saturday night taking care of your little girlfriend. Why can't Pam do it?"
"Because Pam is busy, and I told you to. Don't argue."
Vienna had the honor of playing babysitter to the famous Sookie Stackhouse. Something about…someone wanting...something. It's safe to say she hadn't paid much attention to anything Eric had said earlier.
All she could remember of last night conversation was something about Bill being gone and Sookie needing protection from werewolves.
At least she thinks it was werewolves.
She could have heard wrong, I mean werewolves in Louisiana? First vampires decide to come out of the wood work, Eric decides Vienna would make the perfect progeny, and now it's all about shifters and killer man-wolves.
"You don't even care that I actually had plans tonight? You just expect me to drop everything to save your girlfriend?"
"Of course I care, Enna, and I'll make it up to you. I promise."
Eric placed a kiss to the teen's temple before leaving the room; Fangtasia would fall apart if he wasn't there to sit and stare menacingly.
The grumpy teen pulled on her sneakers and grabbed the keys to Eric's car; if she wanted to get to Merlotte's by the time Sookie's shift ended, she'd better leave now.
