Orihime waited anxiously by her door for the arrival by the man she's come to recognize as the man who holds her heart. Butterflies filled her stomach as the door handle turned symbolizing the coming of Ulquiorra-sama.

Keep changing your mind like clouds in the sky. love me when your high, leave me when you cry.I know it all takes time, like a river running dry when the suns to bright.

She's waited and waited for his acceptance. Maybe for once, he'd say something back. Ulquiorra quietly studied the bubbly girl as she carefully ate her food. He wanted, so badly, to understand what this lonely human girl sought out of him. He knew his time with her was rapidly decreasing as that shinigami fought closer and closer to them.

So long this is goodbye, may we meet again in another life. like strangers passing by. maybe we'll see clearly in a different light.

Silently he stood as she finished her meal. As he grew closer to her, a sudden urge to embrace her flooded the pale man's mind. Orihime looked up at Ulquiorra questioningly as he stared blankly at her. Then she felt something she's longed for. Ulquiorra gently touched the female's cheek and quickly pulled his hand away from her blushing face.

Keep dodging lights a thief in the night. soon the sun will rise and expose all the lies. so why deny that you and I lead different lives. the rivers from your eyes can't change my mind.

Confusion covered her face as the man that has captured her heart left the room, leaving her with words that would only break her heart.

"I'll never understand why humans are so troubled by a futile person"

Not knowing that his words had left this women crying, he walked down the hallway to his room looking for answers to his unknown feelings. That shinigami was getting closer to rescuing Orihime, but Ulquiorra will stop him.

Orihime cringed as the two men she cared about most strived to injure each other. Ulquiorra glanced at Orihime and he noticed the fear in her eyes, she didn't want this Shinigami dead. She wanted him to lose. Pain flew through him for unknown reasons.

"So this is what it means to feel pain." he thought to himself. He had to kill this boy. This shinigami was the only thing standing between him and Orihime.

Ohh...The rivers from your eyes can't change my mind.

Ulquiorra watched curiously as Orihime bent over Ichigo's lifeless body crying. He thought that killing him would bring her closer to him. His eyes widened as the boy was suddenly revived in his new form. As he looked over at the girl that has captured his heart, he knew that they could never be. He lowered his guard and stopped fighting. He felt the blast of this shinigami's cero penetrate him. His body slowly started to fade away into dust. He looked over to the girl and slowly lifted his hand, wanting to touch her smooth face again. He finally realized what love meant. Orihime reached out for his had with fear on her face. Frowning Ulquiorra asked, "Are you afraid of me women?" Orihime broke out in tears as he completely disintegrated into dust. Her only fear was to lose him……
