Prologue
The moon shone brightly on the rocky floor. A dark ginger tom crept out of a cave and turned towards a rocky ledge. He leaned precariously over the edge briefly but caught himself in time. He ran down the path towards Twolegplace. As the tom crossed the gorge, he wondered if this would be worth it.
The plan would give him power over dozens of cats. He crouched low and walked into the Twolegplace.
It was then he noticed the black tom waiting for him.
"Greetings Oscar!" The ginger tom meowed.
"Well,Sharpclaw,I gathered rebels from Towlegplace to help you. They hate SkyClan and want a better leader."
Sharpclaw pricked his ears. "Good!" he said.
Oscar raised his muzzle to the sky. "Rebels, to me!" he yowled. Cats flooded the clearing.
A she-cat walked over to Sharpclaw. "Going well?" she asked.
"Perfectly, Cherrytail" he meowed.
The cats went in a semi-circle and began chanting.
"Sharpstar!""Sharpstar!""Sharpstar!"
Their voices echoed through the rocky land and even the moon seemed to hide from their fury.
"Two moonrises from now,"Sharpclaw began "We attack!"
The chant started up again.
"Sharpstar!"
