Another fic. One shot. Enjoy. :)
The wind blew her purple hair. Sitting cross-legged, her pale thighs peeked out from her navy blue cape. Her hood flew lightly behind her head. Beautiful. Who knew Raven looked so perfect?
"Robin?" She said, looking at the dazed hero. He immediately snapped out of his thoughts. "Sorry." Robin apologized, flashing a small grin. Raven shook her head. Awkward silence was surrounding them.
"So," Raven spoke softly, "you called me out here for?" Robin looked at the magnificent view of the city, not knowing how to reply. "From the top of the Titans' Tower, nothing escapes your sight." He mumbled. Raven smiled. "That's not answering my question." She said. Robin cleared his throat. But, he didn't know how to phrase what he wanted to say.
"Yes?" Raven prompted, very eager to know what was on his mind. "I don't know how to put this." Robin replied, ruffling his jet black hair. Raven sighed, and got up. "Well, you can tell me when you've finished thinking." She grumbled, frustrated.
Robin stood up. "Wait." He said. Raven rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm waiting." She mumbled, tapping her foot. "I-I'm still n-not sure how to say it." Robin stammered. The female furrowed her eyebrows. "Stop wasting my time!" She shouted angrily, then turned her back.
Just then, Robin grabbed her wrist, and looked deeply into her eyes. Raven stood in front of her friend, her leader, frozen. Cold sweat streamed down from her forehead, to her cheeks. Robin then curled the nervous teen's hair behind her pale and delicate ears.
"Robin." She gasped. He wasn't listening. Robin held Raven by her waist. Their faces inched closer and closer, then their lips met.
Their kiss got more passionate. Robin held Raven closer, while she moved her hand from his back to his face. Her fingers ran across Robin's black eye-mask. Then, he hesitated. He broke the link between them. They were still standing close. Raven looked into his eyes, if only she could. If only she could remove that eye-mask and look into his mysterious, covered eyes. "Why not?" She asked, voice as soft as a whisper. She caressed Robin's cheek with her hand. "Not the mask." He replied, wrapping his hand around Raven's. "Robin, everyone has secrets." She said. Robin sighed and turned away. Raven had no choice but to remove her soft hands from his warm cheeks.
"I just don't want to take it off, okay?" He said, slightly annoyed. Raven had no idea why he would become so touchy whenever someone told him to remove that annoying eye-mask. She gave Robin a warm and long hug, then left the rooftop. Robin stood rooted to the ground, watched her back turn and leave.
