Okay…this is my first submission to so…criticism and compliments welcome.. no huge flames, though, please.
This is just a poem-type-thing that I thought up in the middle of a writing camp I was attending.. I didn't show it to anybody.. so I don't know if it's good or not.
The poem is about this story I've had floating around my head for some time now, about Haku and an O/C. It's a but lame, but what it mostly is about, is instead of Zabuza finding Haku, he finds Haku and another girl by him…and the story's long, and anyway..the girl has these telekinetic powers, and so on and so on. So anyway, Zabuza trains them both, and so all they're life Haku and the girl work side by side…and they secretly in love with each other..yada-yada-yada. You get the picture. So in the end, Haku dies saving the girl. So, here we go.
Disclaimer: I do not own Haku or any characters relating to 'Naruto'. I just own the person who's point of view the poem is in.
So Many A Cold Night
So many a cold night
You've been there
By my side
Holding me close to your body
Which seemed to be
Warm and cold
At the same time
But in a good way.
So many a hot day
You've been there
By my side
Holding my hand in yours
Not squeezing too tightly,
Nor too softly
At the same time
But in a good way.
So many a time
You've been there
By my side
Fighting, fiercely and expertly
To the end
And when victory is ours
You reveal your sweet face.
Your smile is tired and sad
But in a good way.
Almost.
So many a moment
You've been there
By my side
And time itself
Has stopped
Because of you and I
But this time is different
The moment is not
Sweet and beautiful
Like it usually is.
You stand there,
Your back is facing to me
You've become immobilized by the sudden pain
That came so quickly.
This moment
Couldn't be more different
Than all the time
I've ever spent with you.
My mind seems frozen
On one word
One sweet, soft, gentle word
Your name keeps repeating
Over and over in my head.
Someone please tell me
This isn't happening to you.
So many words
I should have told you
I should have said
But it's too late now.
The pain and suffering
That I rightly deserve
Instead was given to you.
You've said it
You've told me all the things
That now are the reason
My heart-felt tears
Are hitting the torn pavement.
A million time I could've said
It.
But no matter how many times
I caress your skin
And press my bleeding lips
To your soft, velvet ones
You won't ever know
Or lay your beautiful brown eyes
On me
Ever again
Because your gone.
Why did you have to go
Before I told you
I never told you
I love you.
Heh, yes, that's it. It's not really that good, but I must say I find it much better than the poem I had to do about rats and taste…..shudder It was horrible…But thanks for reading, and please review!!Please!
