Authors note (please read!) Spoiler alert! This is my take off of Naruto Shippuden 214. If you have not yet seen it, I highly recommend that you watch it before you read this. Please remember that Sasuke nor Sakura actually die in this episode. Anyway with that said, enjoy reading this. 'Now's my chance!' Sakura leaped down onto the surface of the water, focusing chakra to her feet so she wouldn't sink. She sprinted towards Sasuke's direction. She pulled out a kunai from her weapons pouch and gripped it tight in her hand. Her whole body shook from anxiety. She reminisced in a pool of memories.

'Sasuke- kun I love you so much! If you can't stay... take me with you.' She could barely speak, her chest tightened, and it felt as if her heart was being stepped on. Her diamond eyes shimmered with grievance. Sasuke slowly turned around with a cocky look on his face.

'You so annoying.' Sakura gasped, taken back, but still expected it.

'If you leave I'll scream!' Sakura held her hands to her chest. Sasuke teleported behind her.

'Sakura... Thank you.'

Sakura shook her head. 'I cant let my emotions get the best of me, this has to end now.' She dreaded every step closer to him, because it was one step closer to his death. Her lively green gems were now clouded with deep, intense, depression. She bite down on her lip causing it to bleed.

'This is it.' She held onto her kunai so tight, as if her life depended on it, and she plunged in down into the middle of Sasuke's back. Sasuke arched his back and widened his eyes. Blood splattered everywhere. Sakura grabbed onto his shoulder and dug the knife deeper into him. She shut her eyes and tears streamed down the sides of her face.

She slowly pulled the kunai out of his back. Sakura leaned on to wall for support and panted. Sasuke turned around and stumbled. He feel to his knees, but slowly got up. He walked to Sakura. His vision wasn't clear and he wasn't sure of where he was going. He could barely hold his head up. He coughed up blood, and used the back of his hand to wipe it off. He limped side to side. Slowly he made his way to her. He could feel his life leaving him. He looked at Sakura with his dark pools.

"Sasuke...Thank you." His face hit the wall next to Sakura and he slid down, just like his brother did. Kakashi caught Sasuke's lifeless body before he fell into the water. He looked at Sakura, not knowing what to say. Sakura threw her kunai and stared at her blood staned hands. Pain swallowed her. She sobbed, and turned around to hit her head against the wall. At the moment Naruto arrived. It didnt take him less than a second for him to register what just happened. He grabbed Sakura by her shoulders and shook her violently.

"What have you done?" He screamed at her. Anger consumed every matter of him.

"I did my duty as a ninja." Her bangs covered her eyes.

"Sakura how could-"

"He couldn't have been saved Naruto!" Sadness etched her face. Naruto pulled at his hair.

"Kakashi why didn't you do anything?" Kakashi put his hand infront on himself in defense.

"Naruto, Sakura is right."

"You were the one that taught us to never turn our backs on our comrades!" His voice cracked and he walked to Sasuke. He leaned down and closed his eyes. Naruto clenched his fists and slammed them down.
