Author's Note: I'm not a big fan of drabbles (I only do them when I know I'll never get my idea to stretch over 1,000 words), and I don't think I've quite got the hang of them yet (I only did my first couple of few days ago). So I'm not sure how well I did this.
Allison Cameron used to be a confident woman. She studied for her good grades, caught a coffee after class with a group of friends, and had a smile for everyone.
That all changed when she met House. The only person she knew who wasn't brightened by a kind word. The only person who didn't reward her hard work. The only person who could make her feel this way.
But she'd had enough.
"I'm not affected by you any more," she told him. "You can't hurt me."
He smiled inwardly, didn't acknowledge her, and she felt herself breaking all over again.
