"They'll care for each other," she says. "That's what people do."

…..

"I missed you so much, mom. It was so hard knowing you weren't safe and sound back in abnegation," I say as I hug her.

"I know sweetie, I know. I missed you too. And so did everyone else," she releases me from her embrace and points behind me.

"Dad!" I exclaim as I run to him.

"I'm so proud of you Beatrice. You were so brave to sacrifice yourself like that," he says as he hugs me. I feel a tear run down my cheek- whether from happiness or sadness, I don't know.

"Tris? Oh my god, Tris!" I release my dad and look towards the voice.

I see a dark skinned boy running towards me with a girl beside him. "Uriah? Marlene?" I run to them. "I missed you guys so much."

"You were so bad ass down there, Tris. You were a freaking revolutionary!" Says Uriah. Marlene nods and takes his hand. I smile.

I hear footsteps behind me and see Lynn. "You did good stiff," she says. "You did good."

I smile, knowing that's the closest thing to compliment that she will say.

Then I see someone else a little behind her. "What's all the commotion a- Tris?"

"Will... I- I'm so sorry. You were in the simulation and I didn't know what to do and-"

"I forgive you," he says simply. He hugs me then looks at his feet. "How's Chris? I haven't had the courage to look at her."

I look at him. "It was hard, I mean it was hard for all of us but she was a wreck. But I think she'll be alright," I smile.

They're all going be all right.

I look around. I left a lot of people I care about behind, and it will be hard only watching them from afar. But this is my family-even if we're missing a few puzzle pieces. This is my family.

And we're all going to be all right.
